I don't know about you, but I just fell in love with the song. The songs that I had the same feelings at first listening were Bo Rhap and Innuendo only. it was the third time in many years (since Innuendo) that I played a song over and over again for more than an hour. I was listening the song with tears in my eyes the whole time. Maybe it was due to the fact that I was listening to a new Queen song with Freddie after so many years. maybe I got more emotional through the years... I don't know. I just know that I had a great time and the song was worth the wait. It would have been my favourite song in The Works, if it was included in the album.
Thank you QUEEN... thank you everyone who has worked on and for the release of the song, for letting us hear our incomparable Freddie one more time singing a great Queen song.

Well said Ili,
That song moves me too and Freddie sounds as fresh as never before on that record. Forget these re-re-remasters and so compiled records of Queen. Imagine what a whole record with about ten songs could do to people.
But they (QP, Universal, Jim Brian Roger, John) just don't get it.All these treasures lurking and dusting away in the archives. What a shame!. Look at other bands what a nice CD óf takes and demo's could do... some reworked songs etc. All about the money!

It was amazing to hear this track, you couldn't believe that Freddie wasn't still with us and just gone into the studio to record this, on the flip side the other two tracks leave me cold, pretty soulless, pointless.A final album with unheard tracks would be huge, no doubt, so come on boys.......get it on.

I fully agree. I have been playing let me in over and over and cant get tired of it. When I first heard love kills live I got really excited for it until I found out they were using the same vocal take. just doesn't seem to fit. the live versions with Adam are better because he is signing the song like a ballad, plus that little break in the middle, wish they kept that in the studio version. As for the Jackson duet I usually skip it after the first verse once Michael comes in.

It's a good song and Freddie's vocals are 1st class on that song!

I was surprised to discover that it has Fred Mandel on the piano!

Maybe this has already been confirmed elsewhere - but I think you can tell from the solo that it was one Brian recently added to the song, and not one of his from 1984.

So was I, after keep reading interviews wirh Brian saying 'what you hear on there is just the four of us playing'!!
I suppose the fact that Mandel plays the piano on it does lend credence to the main backing having been recorded together live; if the tracks had been built up with individual recorded parts then there would have been no reason for Freddie or Brian not to have played it.

Very competent sexy Freddie with a dos of swagger. Love it too.

Nice track. to me it falls in the same category as My life has been saved. Although LMIYHA is slightly better than that.

If Brian & Roger stopped faffing about with madam lambert
then they would be able to find some more un-heard freddie tracks and finish them off!
Freddie is surely more important than miss lambert !
