Alright, a couple of thoughts.

Live Aid
- the video starts with silence. Why? Was it a "deliberate creative decision" (George Lucas should patent that term) or don't you have a complete radio broadcast of Live Aid? If the later, would you like to have radio recording at least for the intro?
- the end gets out of sync, the final seconds of Is This The World We Created, and apparently on both audio tracks

Milton Keynes
- mono radio mix? Isn't it the TV mix? Also, would you like/have time to/want to try to sync it to also the audience recording?

Live Magic
- great job, I love it. Maybe you'd like to add the pro-shot footage of Knebworth?

Thanks for that, it was really enjoyable. I have done in the past Wembley first night synced with the audience recording and Wembley second night synced with a mix of the radio broadcast and the audience recording, so I know it's a tough work :)
Do you plan to do Tokyo 85 synced with the radio broadcast? That's one of the things I'm planning to do for the last 10-15 years but I never had the time for it

The stereo Live Aid source starts when it starts, I could have just used the official audio to fill in the silence in the beginning, but I decided to leave it as it was.
I am aware of the slight issue on the last song, but I believe it's due to the video editing, since it also happens on the official mix.

Yeah, it's the TV mix, that was a slight brain fart on my side :P
I'd love to try the audience source, I did request the source in some old Milton Keynes threads, but nothing ever popped up - if you have it, I'll be glad to take a look at it :)

Again, If you have it, I'll be glad to take a look at it :)

And yes, I will be synchronizing the Tokyo '85 show to the radio broadcast, I completed it back in September and uploaded it to my YouTube channel (where it was quickly removed, stating it would be uploaded to the official Queen channel in the "coming weeks"), but it needs some more work :)

Awesome stuff, man. The Live Magic one is just perfect.

Sure, I can put up the Milton Keynes audience tape. But does anyone know a decent file uploading website? 1fichier is down, embedupload is a pain, and mijnbestand.nl is kaput.

Did you use the five (mysterious) stereo tracks? By far my favourite of all the Milton Keynes stuff:

Perfect - thanks !

Presto:

Also, trying to find Back Chat from the Absolutely Rare compilation bootleg. It's the best-sounding of the three audience sources, but only that one song has ever seen the light of day.

Yes, if you open the file and look under audio tracks, you will find both the mono TV mix, and a merge of the 5 stereo songs and the mono mix :)

But it's an MKV file - it just plays as is. Are you talking about a DVD menu?

Wow you didn't know that? :)
That's the great thing about the mkv container, you can have multiple video tracks (in basically any codec), you can have multiple audio tracks (in basically any codec), you can have multiple subtitle tracks (in either the graphical formats used for DVDs and Blurays or text subtitles in srt format), you can label any track as you want, you can add pictures as appendices, you can even set them as "screensavers", you can have chapters ....
Officially mkv supports some fancy stuff like playlists or DVD-style menus, but I haven't seen these features implemented anywhere yet

Good to see another MKV fan here.

It's a great container. I use it for all my videos.
