who wrote this song? Is it known? It seems like for most of the songs with the writing credit of "Queen" it's pretty much known who wrote what.....I havent heard much about this one, really....
If I had to guess, the music sounds like it might be the result of a jam session (something like Innuendo), but the lyrics seem like something Brian might come up with.....reminiscent of Doin All Right and/or On My Way Up.........

i suppose that since it's evolved from a jam session it's written by eh, all of them.
What I find interesting is that proggy guitar bridge that is also present in I Guess We're Falling Out. I suppose this is a little idea Brian must have had ready before HOIT.

The late David Richards said it's Freddie's. Brian made most of the arrangements.
that sounds plausible certainly........interesting...........
I think its my 2nd favorite song from The Miracle, if ya know what I mean

It sounds like a Freddie improvisation made into a song. I don't really like it all that much, don't know why.
I just love it.......I like Queen the most at their hard rock/metal/prog rock kinda stuff..........
Some of the keys parts were reminiscent of Level 42 in a couple of places - I always like the song
didnt Level 42 open for Queen? (thats the extent of my knowledge of that band)
Embarrasing song. Lowest point on The Miracle. Highest point? You're right. Was it all worth it.

Lower point than Rain Must Fall or Party?? Uh......no.
I ask it here too, in case you don't see the other comment: "what's wrong to you with this song?". It's one of the best songs of The Miracle, to me.

Uh good thing it's not actually on The Miracle then
In fact, Hang On In There is not part of the album. It's a CD version extra and a B-side. And it's a bit weak IMO.
Technically is not part of the Miracle, we all know that. Still, part of the whole thing. Same as all the rest of the B sides and unreleased songs.
Unreleased songs are unreleased. They're not part of anything.
