I thing HOIT has a real rocking power. Like it. In the middle of my Miracle favourites.

Embarrasing song. Lowest point on The Miracle. Highest point? You're right. Was it all worth it.[/QUOTE]
Lower point than Rain Must Fall or Party?? Uh......no.

I like HOIT a lot. But why is Rain Must Fall a low point? It's a typical Queen I retesting quirky song no more so than stuff from the early 70s

Rian Must Fall is not so bad. Fits on that era. Party is very weak.

I always think that HOIT somehow has a weaker production than the stuff on the miracle.

I guess it's the cheesiness of the backing track that gets me.....its not totally horrible tho.........the bass aint bad, and there is some nice guitar........

RMF always seemed like a Stevie Wonder song to me (circa IN SQUARE CIRCLE/CHARACTERS era) it's upbeat and a little Caribbean. Not too cheesy, I'm sure it would have helped to have an actual acoustic percussion track. I rate the song pretty high on the album. It's fun and spirited.
Beautiful guitar elements. There's just so much emphasis in Brian's playing
HOIT was a bit jerky in its elements like POTU but the musicianship is fantastic

I like the instruments and music to HOIT but have never really liked the lyrics, bit too cheesy. It has good energy and sounds like the band had fun playing it. It comes across with a very "live" feel.
