Ah yeah, you're right. My questions still make sense anyway

Sorry for the confusion. Where I live, people use the European notation. I used as a reference, for the name of the note, an online piano.
And well, I was thinking in Bo Rhap when making the sentence (but it still fits!). X)

Roger's A5s in "In The Lap Of The Gods" are beautiful though

^ If we're talking about the same concert and song, it's quite out of tune. Maybe you're talking about the "Revisited..." version?

Seems like quite a few people got this. I'll be patient and wait for mr Brians Wig to officially post this some day.

He will post it after pressing the vinyls, surely after November of this year.

He will not share Sheffield. Full stop.
That is the Fanthology mode of operation: Promise to share, but never deliver.
Sigh. These things have been explained countless times, and obviously cannot be comprehended by your double digit IQ.
If it weren't for the people in the fanthology, and people of "their ilk" - your collection of unreleased music would be about 99% smaller than it is.
You, on the other hand, have contributed nothing. Zero. Nada. Just complaining and trolling those who do.
If you don't like it - then change it. Find a rare tape, digitize it, and show us what a wonderful, generous and hard-working person you are.
But obviously YOU won't be doing that, will you ?
Of course not. It's easier to sit on your soapbox and spew your ignorance and straw man arguments towards those who do, which is why you'll continue to do just that.

So .... selling bootlegs is fine now?
If you read the owner of the tape's explanation and proceed not to use binary thinking - then perhaps yes.
Oh I see. It's all clear now lol!
Incidentally, is he the owner of the content of the tape? Does he own the copyright? Is he licensed to sell it by Queen productions?
Considering he said he's giving a copy of the tape to Brian, maybe you should ask to clarify such details before making yourself look like a fool.
Wow it doesn't take much for you to start firing the insults off. So what did I do to deserve your wrath this time your lordship?
Yes, that did seem a little snappy didn't it? Come on Bob.. Your one of the good guys here.. Holly made a valid point.
Nowhere did BW say he was intending on selling these LPs at a price higher than their cost, or whether or not QP would be receiving royalties from said sales if that were the case.
Holly's post wasn't a series of genuine questions. They were a character assassination trip coming from a place of bitterness towards music collectors because, along with his compadre Panchgani, they possess an astounding ignorance of where unreleased music comes from (despite such details having been spoonfed to them on numerous occasions) and a sense of entitlement to receive them as they please.
Until BW says otherwise, my point stands.

What a load of crap. You're the one doing the character assassination and you are the one displaying the hypocritical double standards. Your moral compass is as wonky as Christopher Lambert's Scottish accent.

As always, a well reasoned argument.

Actually Panchgani, it's got fuck all to do with Fanthology, though I'm sure it's fair to say that their members will include people who have brought rarities to the table in the past and shared them freely here and elsewhere.
Oh, and I didn't say "wait until next year".
I said my plan was to release it LAST year on the 40th Anniversary, but it all went tits up (and would have been overshadowed by Rainbow 74 anyway), so I WAS going to share it THIS November instead.
Obviously those plans will have to be brought forwards now, but we're talking weeks not months.
I do NOT want to become a bootlegger and make thousands of pounds, but even the simplest person can understand that if I want a pressed CD (or even better a vinyl of this recording), then I'm damned if I'm going to have to pay some rip-off bootleg company for the privilage of buying my own recording and seeing THEM make thousands out of it.
As for the License. I approached MCPS, told them what the deal was and asked where I stood. THEY told me to buy a licence and which one to buy.
And yes, so long as I'm not selling them to make a blatent profit, it's okay to make a few.
I'm part of a collective of people who collect Queen bootleg vinyls and it would be nice to let them all have a copy at cost price rather than pay the Bootleggers silly money. It's taking money OUT of the hands of the bootleggers and that's called "beating the bastards".
I want people to have copies of this on pressed CDs or vinyl without them having to pay £60+ (for a CD!) to the known bootleg companies, because lets face it, as soon as it hits QZ properly, the fuckers are going to download it for free, brick wall the sound, press numerous copies and flog em at silly prices to make enormous profit because there are people out there who will ALWAYS want a "proper" copy, not a CDR.

...
So is it fair to estimate that LP's and CD's will be pressed by April, and available for download by ordinary fans by June? ... Or that you will provide an update if circumstances change?
