Hell I will take a sound-only release. As long as it's not LIVE KILLERS EXTENDED though. My dream Jazz release would be a 6 CD release featuring the uncut 1978/12/20, 1979/03/01, and 1979/05/06 (with necessary vocal fixes of course.)
Who told you the 1978/12/20 and the 1979/05/06 shows were professionally recorded?
Weren't stereo soundboards recorded?
No confirmation of these two shows having been recorded has ever been published.

Could you imagine how good Led Zeppelin could have been if they actually had a fucking singer?!

You're joking right?!

I dunno, maybe listening to all of Led Zeppelin's shows in 1975 has desensitized me to mediocre singing.
Ha ! Ding.
Plant is mostly intolerable in 75. When I listen to most of those soundboard tapes, all I hear is drugs.

Umm, what?
75 was a bad year for him, but his voice was excellent for pretty much the rest of their career. And it's absolutely brilliant now - just without the wail.
From 70-72 he was unstoppable.

Sure, but it's well known that they recorded 2 track tapes of every show for their own purposes from 1975ish onward.

I sure wish those 2 track tapes would make their way out somehow. Maybe Empress Valley Supreme Disc should ask around and see what they can get.

So... 1979 recorded shows:
Tokyo: Unreleaseable for voice problems and i don't blame them)
Munich: Unreleaseable for being destroyed.
Hammersmith: Unreleaseable for lost multitracks.
Paris: Unreleaseable for lack of angles.
...what about the other nights in Paris?
Who said Munich is destroyed, Munich is availble in Digibeta. Part of Munich was saved from the original 16mm film. As for Munich no extra footage was shot, the cameramen got the setlist and knew what to record.

The Real Wizard has claimed that the Hammersmith multitracks already have been found. Would love a release of that.
Definitely, Paris '79 would be a better choice. Maybe with a couple of bonus from Tokyo :)
Well paris was only shot with 1 camera so that won;t happen as a sandalone release. As for Kampuchea they still are searching for the multi track audio...sp that won't happen...

____________________________________________________________________________

This is from http://queenlive.ca/queen/paris.htm :

The unofficial "compilation" video containing footage from all three nights. Sixty-five minutes in length, it is definitely a pro shot, although only a single raw camera angle. We can be sure that other cameras were also filming, as there is multi-cam footage on The Champions, The Magic Years, and Rare Live. It was edited together like this for some reason from more complete master tapes. Many versions have floated around over the years, but they all have the same content. Most copies have a little clock running in the top-left corner, which has helped in identifying which concerts the songs come from. About 45 minutes are from the third night, 20 from the second night, and a few seconds from the first.
