If that's not a Kaposi Sarcoma spot on Freddie's right arm, my name is Elvis.

Morning Elvis.

I don't know enough about the condition to say.....but but I do know that it could equally be a blood blister/bruise caused when putting his studded arm belt on too tightly - I'm always doing that with stuff.

because "that spot" was clearly Freddie's inspiration for his late 80's queen song-writing :-)

Why do we keep coming back to this subject? I'm sorry RafaelS, but posting this picture and mentioning Kaposi's Sarcoma is just in bad taste now. We all know he had AIDS, we all know he had KS and we all know he died. We also know that he knew by Live Aid or certainly by the Magic Tour that he was ill.
Freddie's illness has been thrashed out here so many times and really it's gone way past the point of healthy constructive discussion and is at the stage of tabloid sensationalism.
It's far more interesting to talk about Freddie's creativity, compositional style, vocal ability, even what he might be doing had he lived, and we can even argue about what he would think of Adam Lambert in the band, but I fear that talking about the progression of his illness 30 years ago is not doing anything other than wallowing.
Sorry, rant over.

- and yes, I know I have contributed to a thread about his illness, and probably I shouldn't have. I should have let it lie. I hoped that I was contributing something useful to it at the time I wrote it but I know now I was just jumping off on my ego.

That's uncalled for since we had converssations about your great DVD covers you do. But you're the proof of the imbecility and lack of intelligence of the members who populate this forum. This forum is a laughing stock for a lot of Queen fans. I posted a begnin picture and I got the reactions I anticipated.
To all the schizophrenes, drifters, outcasts, leftists, communists, ISIS sympathizers and al, I'm saying as a Swan Song to you all: Fuck you bunch of faggots.

Another Queen fan using 'faggot' as an insult. What a cunt.

But you don't find "leftists, communists, ISIS sympathizers" as insults rather disturbing, especially in combination with "faggot"?

This photo, and that same spot, have already been discussed here before, in at least one previous thread. In that thread (I can't be arsed to find the link, but it's a relatively recent one), as in this, we came to the conclusion that it is unlikely that that spot is a Kaposi's lesion. A few people also commented on how pathetic this whole AIDS obsession thing is. But anyways, in absence of any other evidence, it's safe to say that it is much more probable that the spot is just a normal bruise. The first photo of a real lesion is from 1986, when he came back from Japan... just FYI (not indulging in AIDS porn).

I know many comments sections (esp YouTube), forums, etc., tend to degenerate into insults - such is the nature of the internet. But it's been evident for some time now that this sort of thing is happening too often here - more often than normal on any average board.
