How does them touring bother you? It has brought joy to many tens of thousands (hundreds?) of people who went to the shows. People who never dreamed that they could see BM & RT playing Queen songs in their lifetime. Loads of nay-sayers saw the shows and did change their views after seeing it. Sadly you decided not to out of respect for Freddie??? Who are you kidding? His mum and sister went (as mentioned) Do you really think they give a shit about your blinkered opinion? Not at all! Neither would Wayne Sleep (in his long dark coat) or the rest of your town - after all, he's a sell-out due to all his TV show appearances and reality crap.

Lots of people don't want to get into this current incarnation but they have said their reasons and left it at that. We ALL know that you are too immature mentally to accept it.

Adam Lambert is only a karaoke singer, he can not play any instrument he is totally fucking useless.

I hope the collaboration continues, and even if I don't like what the do in future, I hope it continues simply because of the anguish it would cause you.

On the other hand, Brian and Roger, just the two of them, not as Queen, just Brian and Roger, playing a mixture of solo and non Freddie Queen stuff...
They would sell out the Albert Hall quite easily and likely would find it fulfilling. Dave Gilmour seemed to do ok with that.

When I was a pre-pubescent kid and ardent fan I used to get annoyed when people slagged them off. I grew up and realised that they are an outlet for music that I really enjoyed and saw that the members were human, fallible and not the people I once put on a pedestal. I really don't like Lambert's voice and there's nothing much of interest or artistic merit for me in this tour but you would have to be in a very deep state of denial not to appreciate:

-- this tour has been a financial success
-- it has been a critical success
-- crowds appear to be having a great time
-- Brian, Roger and AL seem to be having a great time
-- Lambert is not trying to replace Fred
-- Lambert is conducting himself with a fair degree of panache
-- Lambert seems to be a decent person in a thankless job

Obviously NOT a true Gez Queen fan.

1. Adam on every show very clearly sated that he tries to honour Freddie and if not for him, he wouldn't be where he is in the music industry.

2. It was both Brian's and Roger's decision to choose Adam as a "guest singer"/ "the new guy" and we should respect that or take a moment to reflex on this. In these days we have a higher possibility to be heard when speaking by our wallets. All shows were sold out and not once was Brian boooed when he asked "what do you think of the new guy". Combine those two things and we'll have the opinion which made its way to the band.

3. It was Queen + Adam Lambert. That was the name they chose for the tour and they were very specific about that. They didn't baptise Adam as a new lead vocalist but we now know (Adam's interview) that the collaboration will continue (more shows / confirmed Rio gig / studio work ? [not necessarily new album])

4. The tour was a huge success (tickets + reviews) but despite of it, what matters is that Queen, the brand, drew attention. People got interested and what's more, businessman in the music industry realised that there is a call for making money on that brand, and as the band was pressured into releasing Queen Forever by the Universal, they will be pressured to release other things which means more Queen music which is a good thing.
