Auto tune is mechanical, that is why its not likeable. But if you can replicate that with a real tone and i think freddie comes closes to that than any other singers, his straight tone like for example in the show must go on, ill face it with a grin, ill never giving in, that tone is as close to a straight auto tune as can be with a natural voice, and that sounds incredible. So if u can come close to a auto tune but with a real voice, i think that is something we like to hear

Sure, but much of what's in this thread isn't a matter of opinion.
It's a fact that this guy can't sing in pitch nor pronounce his vowels properly, not an opinion.

Prove your claim, put my version next to the original side by side and let's see if your right.

And by the way, a singer is a person who can hit notes, that is a singer then, everything after is just a matter of taste. And i pretty much hit all the notes so
Off course there is a lot of technique involved but i meant that singing is basically hitting notes with your voice then everything else is practice and taste.
Wow. To quote Mike Birbiglia - what you should have said was "nothing."
You've somehow managed to make yourself look even worse.

i.e. singing in pitch.
Duh. Thanks, captain obvious.
Hitting the notes is one thing out of thousands when delivering a song. Singing is breathing, interpreting, role playing, delivering, communicating. All of which you obviously know nothing about.
If you think you have any remote chance of becoming a singer, you have a decade of intense vocal lessons in front of you. You don't have any natural talent, and your knowledge base is pretty bare.
And you should probably read some self help books too, so you can work on your attitude, and maybe develop a shred of humility and perspective.
Good luck with that.

Dude, you're clinically insane.
If you think your sub-karaoke recording is comparable to one of the greatest performances of all time, then there is absolutely no hope for you.
Like I said - become a session keyboardist. You'll do well if you develop a good attitude. But you are not a singer.

Real wizard: you're a troll. Prove your claim or shut it. If u objectively think the things ur saying, you should have no problem putting them side by side proving your point and therefore ending this whole discussion and get me packing and out of here. Here is ur chance. If you do this and it proves to be true as ur saying, ill go and never come back here. Hell ill even stop my music,
The King Of Rhye · Member since
Do you really think Real Wizard (or pretty much anyone else here, for that matter!) actually needs to listen to the original Bo Rhap again to compare it??? Like we aint all heard that song about 42 gazillion times??
Mercuryking · Member since
If u put them side by side simultaneously , as i have done, then you and the others claim that im not at all in pitch will be proved wrong. That is what im saying.

It would be nice if you do a background check before blaming people beeing a troll or not !
Mercuryking · Member since
I don't need to do any background checks, if u claim something and act as if its a objective opinion, then you should want to prove what your saying, just to show that what ur saying is not just hating.

Seriously? I think you ARE the real troll.
Check old threads, new threads and every thread you can. If you find 'The Real Wizard' in them, surely you'll find clever words.
Aaand, I'm off.

Well till now I didn`t say anything about your vocal performance. But in my opinion sometimes your vocals drone out, maybe just a little bit but it`s enough to be distracting . Of course I exaggerate a little bit but that`s what I hear.

Why are you acting hostile towards Wizard? He has given you the most useful advice in this thread (about pursuing a keyboard career rather than singing).
Per your request, I put your version next to the original side by side (figuratively, because there is no way your version can be put on any side of the original one).
(Wizard: I hope you don't mind that I have done the silly job which Mercuryking asked you to.)
Here are things that stick out in your version from the comparison, in CAP bold are the flat notes, and in CAP normal are the notes which sounds hollow - cringeworthy - goat vibrato (the latter part may only be my personal opinion, but as far as I have counted in this thread, 90% of people agreed with me, and 0% said otherwise).
MaMA, just killed a MAN,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead.
MaMA, life had just beGUN,
But now I've gone and thrown IT ALL away.
MaMA, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorROW,
Carry ON, carry ON, as if NOthing really matTERS.
Too late, my time has COME,
Sent shivers down my spine,
Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to GO,
Gotta leave you all behind and FACE the truth.
MaMA, ooh
I don't wanna die,
I sometimes wish I'D never been born at ALL.
Then you cut Scaramouche out of the song. That's unacceptable. Right it is a long section and doesn't serve your voice, but still, nobody cuts Scaramouche out. Not even the Queen guys. The chop and joint feels horrible.
You demanded the side-by-side comparison because you knew that nobody would want to do it, nobody would really want to listen to your performance once more just to list things out.
@ noorie: it was not about his passion or dream, it was about his attitude. First, he claimed that his cover is a "great cover" (good way for PR). Secondly, he claimed that several English native singers have worse english accent than him. Thirdly, he claimed that his cover is better than Adam Lambert's. The level of ridiculousness is rising. Fouthly, he claimed that his progress is on par with Freddie's progress. Fifthly, he named everyone who had toughly criticised him as trolls or haters. I don't need to witness any past history, this thread says it all.

You put a lot of effort into that post but you still didn't do the task, i did not ask for words or text my friend. I asked for a sound comparison. I'm talking about him saying I'm out of tone and pitch, well then put it up to task and end all the nonsense, nothing would show it better than a side by side audio comparison simultaneously but since no one here that calls my version of bo rhap sucky, i might as well do it myself and link it here.
Mercuryking · Member since
Alright since none of you did it, i made a side by side comparison myself with me in the right speaker and freddie in the left. Now lets see how out of tune and out of pitch i really am and how mediocre my version is.
