I don't see anything wrong with Delilah.

It's a fun song and proves once more that Freddie loved his cat very much. As to the song being out of place... If Freddie released solo album in 1991, Delilah would be on it as it resembles his solo work. Though I wonder if they were fiddling with different instrumentation or the synths were there from the beginning. 2011 deluxe edition was an opportunity to make something with this track but they missed it.

I like the Delilah very much, only problem is that the noisy Hitman comes after - have to run to the stereo to turn down the volume.

I love Delilah. One of the best Queen songs ever.

Yes, of course. In one of the infinite number of other universes, it probably is.

I hate synth-oriented music. Maybe if the song was a funny little piano oriented number like e.g. Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy it could be good, but I just can't stand the album mix.

I love the whole Innuendo album except Headlong and I Can't Live With You. To me they are the only weak songs on the album. I don't care whether your taste is different.

Partly a question of taste, but partly a question of consensus. There is consensus that Delilah is an inferior song to the rest of the ones on Innuendo - indeed also to most other Queen songs. Doesn't really matter what you care or don't care either. We're not discussing who cares.

How would the world be if everyone had to agree to opinions others declare as part of a dubious "consensus"?
I do not care whether you or many other fans aka "the consensus" dislike Delilah or not. I love it.
And I do not care what you declare as "the discussion".

Friends don't let friends put songs like Delilah on albums. It's embarrassing. The beauty of the iPod age, I can pretend it does not exist.

I have all Queen albums on my Ipod, complete, I really don't see why you would remove any being a fan, liking the song or not.
