Ok so it looks like Hammersmith is getting its release Novemeber 13th. It will be shown at the convention also. But the mystery still lies will Hammersmith 79 be contained in a double Box set, Amazon has it up now without any information in different formats. One being a 4 Disc Box Set!!!!!!! Great stuff.. Queen A night at the Odeon, great title...lets hope that we get Hammersmith 75 and Hammersmith 79 Movie shows and Audio shows, making up 4 Discs. And hoepfully not just a remastered version of A night at the Opera album and the bonus cd...We can only wait!!

With a title having 75 in it... I dont give it much change containing the show of 79.

And also 'A Night' (singular)

Why would they include the 1979 show? Just think about it. They would have had to hint at it somehow, but they didn't.

I think they'll leave Hammersmith 79 til a later date. However I've read that Jim Beach has mentioned at Freddie's birthday party that Japan 75 'snippets' may well be included as well as a couple of other gems he wasn't prepared to disclose at that point. If that the Budakon show on May 1st 75 was recorded,is Hangman a possibility? I'd be this release just for that!!

If Jim Beach thinks it's appropriate after 40 years to only release "snippets" then I will make a consumer choice not to buy this release. Rainbow was great and set a high standard. Queen productions ought not to fall back to their previous shoddy standards.

What I read about what Miami saying was translated by Google from an Italian review. So the word snippets might not be entirely acqurate, lol.

Snippets of Japan are the only thing they have, so what else should they release?

We actually don't know how much Japanese footage they have, but I'm afraid this is the only bonus on the next release.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now, because of how great the Rainbow '74 release was. But I'm not exactly jumping for joy about Hammersmith '75.

I'm not particularly happy about this release. But think a little about the logic of the last releases:
Last year 2014, they released material from 1974, now in 2015 we get stuff from 1975. So we can hope great things in the years to come (2016 Hyde Park, 2017 Earl's Court and Houston!!!, 2019 ;) )
