You're being too optimistic. I'd put my money on 2016 release. :D

I was thinking that they still haven't released the friday gig on CD. So maybe we'll see super duper box set with both nights on video and audio. Plus 10 minutes of new interviews from Brian and Roger lulz.

Anyway, i think is odd we don't have the press release yet.
Maybe the dates we given are a mistake and it is not going to be released in November.
Considering the main thing is the Hammersmith show that took place in Christmas Eve, maybe they are waiting till Christmas to release it.
Xmas is good for business, isn't it?

Maybe they're waiting with the press release until the vinyl box set is released.

Remember, the Wembley 25th anniversary edition press release came out just a month before the release itself. So there's nothing really strange here.

This is a great release! The only problem is that in our quest to get everything about Queen, we already own pretty much every major concert of this band in different quality.
It´s only normal that our excitement isn´t over the roof for this one, because we already own this concert in excellent quality. Of course i´m ready to be surprised with the picture and superb sound, but it is what it is.
This is a wonderful product for any Queen or music fan, even if it doesn´t contain any extras. It´s not their fault that we are collectors! They are finally doing a great job in releasing what the fans really want. I hope they continue with this line of thinking for future releases.

This just in from Nick...
"Have a great one Sao Paulo; see you on the other side, I've got some 'A Night At The Odeon' work to do, I have the artwork in front me and everything... ;)"

I saw some screengrabs of the title page etc, dunno if it was a joke but it looked nice.

Hammersmith 75? What a boring release. 79 would have offered something new at least.

Well said mate!
The conclusion of these Hammy treads are that we love to see the concert in a final version appear on DVD/bluray, BUT with some exiting extra's. No extra's, not worth the release. ( we shared several versions here on the zone and also in the tradingcommunity)
QP set a standard with the Rainbow package (boxset) after some dreadful releases the years before. Thinking of Montreal with that Paint pro cover and content (Live Aid) that was already released.on a different DVD.
The Montreal DVD was incomplete, but it was nice to see and hear IMAX quality and a new audio mix,. The rest ... well not my cup of tea.
The problem is I personally felt some of QP recycling activities purely as a rip off (with Wembley topping everything), as did others feel here on Queenzone and Queenonline, Don't f*** with Queenfans, and never underestimate them.
I'm looking forward to this Hammy 75 release with Rainbow boxset in mind.

Why do you people insist on calling it a "great release" when it is so obviously a flawed concert? Half of the band is noticably ill, the set is short and they're visibly nervous. The only thing that could make this a "great release" is a set of stunning extras. If it is going to have to ride on Hammersmith '75 alone, it's going to be dull as dirt, ESPECIALLY to the 'casual' listener - who is not going to care about the back story and is just going to see a band that can't wait to get the show over with.
