Rainbow was superb, and Odeon is very promising. Don't understand the moaning here. BE POSITIVE PEOPLE!

Val Lurex wrote: I don't understand those of you asking to include the 1979 show as part of the bonus material. The 1979 Hammersmith show is an independent concert from a different era which doesn't belong to this release, except for the fact that both events took place in the same venue and on/around Christmas Day. It should be released separately as a standalone release, even if its sound quality is downright poor. And anyone who thinks it's not going to be released, because of lack of titles and because a title which could have been used for the 1979 show has already been used for this upcoming release, is not of this world.
It was still a concert at the Hammersmith Odeon. If they could release a Rainbow box-set, they can release a Hammersmith box-set as well.

if the audio/video quality of the Budokan tracks will be the same as the bonus of the japanese DOOL documentary, we will be disappointed!

I'm not over excited about this release. However, what this release and Rainbow last year seems to be indicating to me is a full document if you will of each live period they have in the archives. If this is what QPL are trying to achieve then I'm all for it. Ok Hammersmith 75 never was going to be up there with the Rainbow as we've all seen and heard the bootlegs for years in varying degrees of quality. Looking at the big picture tho,we might just get Hyde Park 76 next year,Earl's Court 77,Houston and the finale of Hammersmith 79 in a Live Killers box set. That's my theory anyway.

Well, I've no idea. If you're talking about what was posted earlier, the Bob Harris bit had no detailed description and what was included in it.

No, I meant when the first unofficial setlist appeared there was talk about a bit more extra's . What i've seen now with the Argentinia Facebook post is less. No visuals for SWAFIB and SSOR. And the same content

John Deacon doing his bit from the fast part of Jailhouse Rock in Hammersmith Odeon. The video looks horrible and pretty good at the same time.

It looks like they're still using the same PAL tape which they used since the 80's, but this time converted to NTSC.
