I can think of loads of more boring concerts. It was all about the music in the 70's, Hammersmith being no exception even though it's a bit shorter. What bothers me is that we will probably have seen pretty much everything in this release already.

Well an interview with AL might have some value as they played together there in 2012. But yes, out of place for sure.

Half the band was ill, they were visibly nervous, they didn't take any risks in the playing because they knew it would be broadcast making the show bland, it was a short gig and it is going to be autotuned to death because it's riddled with flaws due to Freddie being ill.
Name me ONE concert by Queen that's more boring.

Disagree. Sun City was a better gig than Hammersmith '75 by a long run. So was Milton Keynes and a number of others.
ON AVERAGE, the '70s concerts were (much) better than the '80s concerts. But that does not mean EVERY '70s concert was better than EVERY '80s concert.
Hammersmith '75 is just awful in comparison to other Queen concerts. Despite the fact that it is the best audio/video quality bootleg dvd I have, it's also the one I watch least.

I have to disagree. Milton Keynes is rather boring, but it's just my opinion.

I'll respectfully disagree with this. Now what I find really boring is the Tokyo 85 gig we have on video. I haven't even watched it in full I think.

And here I am finding Budapest 86 boring :P
Mostly due to the video/camera editing, but it's heavily attributed to the dull audio mix.

I'll be very disappointed if they don't include some rarities I have on my Gypsy Eye "White Queen Nught" bootleg : songs such as Lair, See What A Fool For Been and Too Much Of The Black Queen can't be found anywhere else! Still, it would be nice to have Liar, See What A Fool I've Been and The March Of The Black Queen instead...

I'll agree with Chief on Tokyo '85 being boring. I guess it was because of the setlist imo. If they kept the setlist from the '84 leg, It might be alright with me

I second this.
Hammersmith has been bootlegged to death. It's nothing special. The only highlights are Brighton Rock and the RnR-medley.
Rainbow was a great release because we hadn't seen/heard the whole thing. Hyde Park will be interesting as well, since the bootleg video is a not a fair representation. Also, great setlist (Prophet's Song, '39 for example), lovely camera angles and of course its historic value.

I've never found the Hot Space tour to be spectacular. I don't indentify myself with the stereotyped opinion that Hot Space is a bad album and a failure at all, though, but really, I've never liked this tour. For instance, some of my favourite songs weren't played on that tour and the setlist was rather odd.

Maybe some people is looking this in a selfish way. Not everybody is a hardcore Queen fan and have bootlegs of the band, so to many, this show may be a surprise and another opportunity to watch the early Queen.

yes, it's commercial thinking all the way down.
But never spit on the 'hardcore' fansbase who carried your music till this day. They supported you from the beginning till the present.
