Really like the slightly rougher sound of that NIH version.

Ayone else noticed the alternate takes on Earls Court footage and the overdub in "overgrown school-boy"?
That makes me believe they will release Earls Court some time. :)
$1000 says the overdub comes from the second night.
I'd kill to hear that show uncut.
Surely there must be an audience tape.

I'd be happy if they'll release compilation of both nights,
and I'd be happy if they'll release both nights separately.
Hyde Park as bonus.

I suspect that the "A Night At The Odeon" footage has gone from PAL to NTSC (for the official release) and then been converted back to PAL (for this UK broadcast) hence the blurry/jerky movement.
I thought that everyone knew that these standards conversions should be avoided if at all possible but this fact seems to have bypassed Queen Productions?
Does anyone know if you can buy a PAL version of "A Night At The Odeon" my copy is NTSC but I live in a PAL region?

AFAIK, everything after Rock Montreal has been NTSC-only (save for Hungarian Rhapsody, which was actual 24p film format)
yeah that NIH was a definite highlight.
this documentary i liked at least as much as Days Of Our Lives, with an obviously greater focus on the beginnings here.

What amazes is me is that they have this better quality footage of a few things, yet haven't shown it before. Makes you wonder what else they have.

By the way, I'm shocked of the perfectly clear stereo instrumental version of the "Polar Bear" song that was played on the background. Should that mean they own the original multitracks, or it was just a cover made by nowadays?
Nah, it's the same version we've had for years.
Sorry, you're wrong. Here's the sample of this track from the background - https://mega.nz/#!bE1B2bhS!S4nrR6Pwc3ypRGwCll21DjCvfHqByI15YB-rhoNUXKI
BTW, I've obtained the better HDTV-rip in 1080p
Queen: From Rags to Rhapsody HDTV 1080i http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1445951/queen-from-rags-to-rhapsody-hdtv-1080i.aspx?anchor=1445951
"Makes you wonder what else they have."
The absolute downside to it though is the next year(s) of speculation and people posting nonsense wish lists of what they think should be released (with bonus footage of 50 hours of extra speculation and bullshit wish lists)

Having watched the doc, one thing struck me was you were effectively watching the true life version of the long awaited film, wasnt that going to be from start to Live Aid?

Yup, you're right - it's instrumental. Well spotted.

Nope.
Why they would need to cut an instrumental song when it's played in the background?
I think it's the Queen demo, but they only left the instrumental sections in the documentary.

Listen carefully, huh?
It seems all the youtube clips for this documentary have now been blocked.
