On the positive side, pretty well everytime these people open their mouths they shoot themselves in the foot with their stupidity, then walk away thinking they've made some earth shatteringly profound comment, Which is truly amusing, much like Trump

Not really though. Trump has claimed he'll try to change the libel laws to silence critical media.

No surprise there.
Canada had a variation of that during the Stephen Harper years. Instead of trying to silence the media, there were about 4,000 government employees whose job it was to "correct misinformation" on internet forums.

It was a very dark decade in Canada - and most of the population was clueless. One could call Harper a trailblazer in the field, as paid online trolling is now commonplace.

* John said (1982 and 1984) that David wrote the bass-line.
* Rog said (early 21st century, I think it was a video FAQ for the Fan Club) that 'someone' (didn't say who) wrote it, then they went for pizza, and then they returned and forgot it, then John remembered it.
* David said (on his website, IIRC) that the riff was already there before he entered the scene.
* Rog also said (2011, DOOL Doco) that John wrote it, they went for pizza, John forgot it and Rog remembered it.
* Brian now said (2016, David's obituary) that John wrote it, they went to grab a bite, John misremembered it and then David corrected him.[/QUOTE]

Maybe Ratty and Crystal wrote the whole thing while the band and Bowie were out sampling the delights of rock stardom! they were then sworn to never tell anyone!!!

I recall a very bitter David Richards comment on FB not long before he passed where he spoke about feeling let down by "certain people" who promised to "look after" him . he categorically stated that HE had played piano on UP and was given no credit and got no royalties. The post was deleted very quickly and soon after that his account was cleaned up and all his previous posts disappeared.
Re "Feel Like", I believe that Greg Brooks once said at Convention that it's Bowie doing the one fingered piano note.
