I have heard what has been officially released to date. These tracks are the songs themselves with no chatter to speak of. What I don't want is to have stupid dj chatter included IN the song's track itself. Have it on separate tracks before and after but not IN the track itself.

Ah! I understand what you are saying now.
I agree, though it makes little difference to me as I'll be ripping the CDs from the 6 pack and editing them so that I A) have a choice of listening to just the songs or the full sessions and B) putting them back into the correct order!

So does anyone know how it's being presented? This will make the difference in which version I buy.
For the people who want to hear it as well. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04dvwjv
:D
If you're in the U.K. You might struggle to get the 6 disc version. I preordered it about five minutes after the press release from Amazon and looks like I'm not getting it.

Why do you think that?
My 6 disc version is showing as "Shipping Today" on Amazon.co.uk.
Maybe I'm panicking but they were ordered as part of the same order - my vinyl copy has dispatched but no sign of the deluxe cd version doing so. Would have thought they'd have shipped together.
apparently it has leaked on the internet today, according to hasitleaked.com. only one day before the official release, not too bad!
Picked up the vinyl and it's a nice bulky item. Can't fathom the front cover though. Boring.
The 6cd version has just been dispatched from amazon.co.uk

Can we assume (bearing in mind that interview with Roger) that either Roger is not good enough at his job as executive producer on Queen releases or either this is a sign how much influence has the Universal / Island Records on what is released and how ?
Neither Brian or Roger were positive about the Queen Forever release either.
They seem to have a lot less control than other classic bands over what gets put out.
Universal can choose not to release something - but they have zero control on what QPL actually deliver to them for release. Universal are in a bit of a pickle with QPL, as they are unable to "extract" much if anything unreleased from their archives. Queen Forever a pointless compilation? Sure - but I'm sure Universal were and are struggling to get many release ideas beyond QPL, and it isn't the first pointless compilation on the band's first label either.
Regarding the interview discs - if Universal suggested their inclusion, QPL would have been able to veto their inclusion if they didn't want them included. Universal wouldn't have requested the truncacted concert material instead of the full live shows. QPL have 100% control over what is released, regardless of the impression they may sometimes give in interviews.
I know some parties like to pretend QPL are being curtailed by record labels - but they are simply NOT. EMI and Universal would release basically ANY unreleased material delivered to them, but they can't get the material out of QPL. Simple as that. Brian and Roger are the ones blocking quality archive releases.
Wise words!
Guys, the mastering of It's Late on this release is marvellous, high frequencies seem to have been treated with delicacy.
MTRNR from session 4 sounds FANTASTIC. I think we might have underestimated this release.
love the sound of the 6th Session sounds!
Any leaks or samples for the Live cd?
