The chatter is just very short comments by Peel and Harris after a few of the tracks. Also some DJ voice overs on Golders Green.
So the chatter is actually part of and included in the song track itself?
Yes - part of the tracks and not separate tracks in themselves. Most comments are at the end and so can be 'skipped' after hearing the sogn, but they are very short and actually quite good!

Is there any difference with Ogre Battle intro on the 2cd and 6cd?
Anyone have a problem with the end of WWRY slow version?

I don't notice any problems with the end of WWRY slow on the download - I'm picking up the 2CD version from Best Buy here in the U.S. later this morning...

I DID notice some slight speed / pitch differences between a couple of tracks vs. my versions downloaded from here. Haven't yet compared with album versions to check pitch. How silly of me to assume that surely whatever QPL put on this new set would be speed/pitch correct. Hopefully they are...

Also, all of my versions from BBC Session 1 have the stereo channels reversed in comparison with the On Air versions. Anyone know which is truly right? Fairly sure my bootlegs from Session 1 are the JSS shared masters...

The 6CD version does have the solo at the beginning of Ogre Battle just got wrong running time on sleeve

Thanks, so it is the same as the 2CD version then?

Joe. You're in the US, yes?
The Hollywood Records CD from the 90's had the channels reversed, so maybe that's what you've got used to and why this new version sounds wrong to you?

White Queen sounds like almost Rainbow from Queen II tour to me
The BBC version of White Queen was recorded only 3 days after the Raimbow's concert, the april 3rd...
so it seems plausible that both versions are very similar

I understand that. But I have to say that it would have been great to have all the BBC sessions with the fresh sound on See What A Fool I've Been 2011 remix.
Not me.

I want a 1973 recording to sound like 1973. The drums on the 2011 version sound like Pro Tools triggers in 2011.

This is excellent news.

I'm also in the states could you let me know if they have the 6cd box?

Best Buy isn't carrying the 6CD box in stores here - only the 2cd. Even Amazon has the 6CD set "in stock" but is now saying it requires an extra day or two of processing...

Yep - New Jersey, USA

It's only the Session 1 tracks, so perhaps they are from the HR CD. I looked at the waveforms as well - definitely inverted L & R channels. Easy enough to fix.

Notably, for certain tracks (KYA and Liar for sure), I like my old version better than the On Air masters...

Can anyone state exactly where the guitar intro starts on Ogre Battle using this clip as a reference? I'm guessing it's at about 44 seconds in.
