That makes sense. 30 years ago. Might have been helpful to say that in your initial reply.

Probably been mentioned, but all the TOTP clips would be great on a DVD in this set.

What about "We Are The Champions" from the Bob Harris '77 footage? Wasn't that a BBC session?

Yes they would. ALL of them, including the 3 Seven Seas...
The only downside to that would be losing the ITV performance.
Mind you. The set IS called "Queen on Air", not "Queen at the BBC"...

it may include 'Good old fashioned lover boy' from BBC clip (as in the AATR Bonus EP) and 'We Are The Champions' BBC version that has some alternate guitar
and other stuff like that...

It seems that the 6 cd version will include the golders green show and interviews, and more material no reveal at the moment

In a spanish facebook fan group of the band, a user that it have some contacts says that it will be three editions:
-2 cds with the six sessions
-3 lps with the six sessions, each one on one side
-6 cds, two with the six sessions, one with the golders green show, one with unreleased or very unknown material (but not confirmed yet), and two with interviews.
the announce will be on september

^ great news indeed. The product seems to be very well crafted, hope there will be good mastering and useful info/photos inside the box set.
It seems to me Queen's set will beat new Zeppelin BBC set and both Beatles' sets as a product and will be on the same level as Floyd's Early Years Set. Fingers crossed.

I believe that was part of the Bob Harris documentary which never broadcast and possibly never vanished.
Also connected to this, in a way, is the We Are The Champions filming day. There is some conjecture as to there being film of the set the band played later that day, which may have been added to the Bob Harris documentary and also an audio of the show.
While these couldn't be viewed as sessions, and were never broadcast I wonder whether this gig would fit into the broadcast sessions set.

As good as this is, the Floyd box set has at least double the amount of material, much of which has never been heard or seen before. It may end up being one of the greatest box sets ever released.

I'm pretty sure, Pink Floyd won my personal "Best Box Set" award this year in my book, but if next month's announcement will be just what rocknrolllover said, I'd say Queen's got some promising new content out soon, and would be something to look forward to come November.

If there's anything unreleased, they'd probably make it vinyl only so no one gets a decent clean version (ala the now i'm here rehearsal take on the last release).
