The issue Greg is that I believe you had previously said 'it didn't exist' or 'it wasn't played live' rather than (if you simply hadn't catalogued all the tapes yet) saying "we don't know of a live version existing" or similar. You seem to deal very much in 'black & white', which doesn't really help you when you give a categoric answer based on incomplete knowledge which often later comes back to haunt you.

I don't believe I've ever been quite so personally aggressive and childish in any of my comments, though admittedly (and justifiably) have questioned the quality of the QPL team output, including yours, at times...equally I have been vey vocal in my stupider and aopreciation of some products (Rainbow leaps to mind) too. I work for an organisation many thousands of times bigger than QPL, and you will have personally benefitted from my employer, so your personal and petty insults really don't work on me I'm afraid. And if you're going to call me a twat, don't then say 'sorry' for doing so, as that's rather spineless and pointless! Shame.

I genuinely want to know this too, Greg, without any ill will towards you. As you've said, you heard the Rainbow recordings in preparation for the release. Was Freddie's voice really in such a bad state on the March concert that it required so much Pro Tools 'fixing'? (e.g. the bridge in Fairy Feller, where the most egregious autotuning on the release can be found)

I think Mr Brooks loads the gun, only to turn it on himself!!
He doesn't help himself one bit really.
The sole purpose of his recent posts was to ask for fans to help him do his job, and berate JSS.
People then obviously ask questions, only to be belittled by him. The guy is way too defensive. No one is asking him to give us any kind of 'exclusive' as to what's in the vaults, or anything like that, but he attacks without hesitation, maybe it stems from a lack o intelligence....?
And as for the nickname thing....wow!!

Seriously. Hearing Freddie crack is always better than hearing autotune so ridiculous it would make Cher's 'Believe' sound normal.

In any case, I seriously think Mr. Brooks might have Asperger's as well as OCD (I have OCD and I am similarly prone to such outbursts) which might explain his behavior.
