So… is this lined up for release after being shown at the party? Why else go to the expense of remixing the sound?
If so, then GREAT NEWS!! Can't wait!!
Presumably the Australian footage won't be released now?!

Ooooh. I think I'd give it a shot. But yeah, didn't they film Australia?
WHAT? Screening this false gig on Freddie Birthday?
What they are smoking ( Brian and Roger)? I wonder how much to get fucked up, for this ocassion ?

^More like what was ol' Jim smoking? 'cos I think I'd like some of that myself.
Yeah that was announced and although it's not for his birthday (off one day) it's ludicrous.
Could've shown the gig in TEXAS doesn't matter the fact it's not perfect, WHY on his birthday, turn the focus to the current line up with AL?
That's like a throwing a celebration of a dead wife/husband into a celebration of the new wife/husband.
ridiculous

Hey let's throw a big posthumous birthday party for John Lennon. By the way, we're showing all of the Japanese TV ads Ringo featured in....
At least it's not another Wembley '86

I think it's because they performed Freddie's "I Was Born To Love You" LIVE with the full band for the first time at that show .....

It doesn't say anything about a release, the show was filmed by the organization of the festival, and knowing Japan, probably in 4K. So this is different, in the past, when they filmed a show, was to be released, now is the usual procedure.
This can easily be QP opening the vaults for the ocassion, i read they filmed shows in Australia and Barcelona.

Whilst there is nothing mentioned yet about a release, they wouldn't show their hand too early if it isn't due out until 2017. I doubt their sound team will have gone to the effort of remixing and fixing just to show it to a few fans. If it was filmed in 4k that's also a selling point for a potential release; any positive feedback they receive from this initial showing will no doubt also be spun into a "fans are clamouring for it to be released" type statement.
Well, I'm perfectly happy about the release, I dont see what all the usual fuss is about, I bet 99% of you went to see them live even if you didnt admit to it. Personally I thought they were great the last time out, way more 'Queen' the with Paul Rodgers, great sound, stunning show and Brian and Roger both on really good form. Brian's guitar rig is sounding better than ever, I hate Rogers drums but that's another story...
Anyway I will happily buy it when it comes out they are doing excellent shows right now, ever bit as good as the old days, and I saw Freddie several times, I bet most of you didn't. Those that did like lyself were luck enough to see the greatest showman, but sadly he is no more and it was decades ago.... let it go
