Not only commenting was disabled in the press release on Queen On Air, they disabled the hability of commenting and deleted every comment on queenonline.com news section, even those from 2009.

They must have had a complete meltdown!
All they had to do was release Hyde Park '76 this year for the 40th anniversary and I'm sure the vast majority would have been very happy (simples) - instead we have this debacle!
(I think when a company announces a new product and its own loyal customers respond by posting hostile even abusive comments on its website, to the extent that they all have to be removed to save embarrassment, it's fair to call it a debacle).

Maybe Kim Jong Un is now the webmesiter for QPL?

It seems that no matter what Queen do, their "real" fans are unhappy. Come on, people! The truth is that Queen did not have to release anything at all! Yes, "On Air" could certainly be better, and the omission of complete concert recordings is bizarre, to say the least. Yes, I would rather have Hyde Park. As a "real" fan, I here you and empathize with you. However, at least we are getting the complete BBC sessions (including "Spread Your Wings", "It's Late", etc.). Furthermore, if folks are disappointed with the box set, then they have the option of ordering the 2-disc version.

We are NOT getting the complete BBC sessions. That's actually one of the complaints.

Queen went full Hillary - delete, delete, delete.

Just wondering why the negativity? One of the biggest complaints in recent years was the Anthology set not being released and the BBC sessions. Now we're getting the BBC and everyone's still complaining. What sessions are missing?

And the Bush administration deleted 22 million emails. Save it for the personals.

I've read that the sessions themselves have been remastered and remixed but no word on the concerts. Are they to be released without a remaster and remix then?

Probably. They didn't mention any kind of treatment to those concerts.

They'll certainly have been remastered. Whether they've been remixed depends on whether they have the multitracks or just the already mixed down stereo tapes. They presumably have the multitrack with 'See What A Fool I've Been' on as the 2011 deluxe edition release was remixed.

I would agree if they were complete but they are butchered to buggery!

Shouldn't that picture be on the "Queen on Coke" topic?
