clarification of Thor Arnold's role in Freddie's life

Thanks for sharing your great fan stories. There is just something about Queen music that makes people sparkle...and want to sing. It would be a fun thread to hear about other's Freddie/Queen fan experiences.

I love singing Queen songs in the car My "microphone" hand tends to move around a lot...sometimes I make drumming motions (at the beginning of "Tie Your Mother Down"). I am just waiting for the day a car pulls up next to me and I see someone laughing. Many years ago I was having a parent/teacher conference with a student's mother. She mentioned that her son (my third grade student) and her husband had seen me in the car while waiting at a traffic light.. They could see me mouthing words (not sure what I was listening to). My student turns to his dad and says "I hope there is music playing!".

Hi there one and all. Leeeeeeeee Nolan here. I thought I would check in seeing that the forum has reached over a hundred pages....... AND the fact that I have made it to page 50 of this tome du Freddie, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Thor has done a brilliant job (no surprise there) in his documenting of events. I look forward to participating full time, and becoming a substantial part of the forum.

Hi Lee, great to have you on board - "welcome, welcome welcome" as John Oliver says at the start of every show. Nolan is an Irish name as far as I know, do you have a bit of Irish in you - asking as a proud paddy myself. :)
