clarification of Thor Arnold's role in Freddie's life

You guys keep asking him shit questions and are harassing him about everything. Start asking good questions about Freddie or else leave the thread.

Hey smilefairyqueen Thor seems pretty capable of expressing his thoughts and opinions. If he felt harassed, I'm sure he would have said it. Nobody here has harassed him. He has a life outside of this thread. His not replying in a day or 2 doesn't signal him feeling harassed. How about instead of demanding that people ask better questions or leave, you drop the attitude and stay in your lane.

I haven't seen anyone ask him a stupid question in quite some time. Someone asked about Freddie's privates and his armpit hair pages back and that was the only stupid topic brought up. Thor shut it down on his own so I don't think he needs you to get up in arms about what other people are asking him. Whats up with these random immature people on this thread? I agree with Villers. Getting back to Freddie.. I know you met Jim Hutton but weren't close to him. I met Jim a few times in the 90's at Queen conventions and as I knew his niece Cammy. I got to speak with him about Freddie and those around him. At the time I was not familiar with the NY Daughters but I do remember Jim saying that Freddie would often speak about his good friends in New York and I can only assume he was referring to you guys. Jim at that point was still pretty sentimental when discussing Freddie and I do recall him getting a little emotional (not crying but definitely touched by the thought) when he talked about how pleased he was to know Freddie had good friends he felt he could trust in the world. I just thought you would like to know Mr. Hutton seemed to be someone who really appreciated your friendship with his husband. Also I noticed a few pages back that someone questioned if Freddie really did call Jim his husband... I can assure you he did. Jim still had tons of letters and little notes from Freddie that he kept over the years. Some were addressed to "My Husband" and signed by Freddie as "Hubby" that I was able to see. His niece does still have some.

I think Thor is just taking a little breather.

I agree. I hope he doesn't mind me tossing that last bit in about Jim if he's actually swamped. I think he is probably just busy though.

This may be the point where Thor thinks it's wise to depart. There's a lot of stuff going on here and he was very generous with his time coming onto this thread. Thor is a VERY important witness to the Freddie story and he may have realized that with the upcoming movie.

Either way...we love you Thor and thank you so much for the way you reached out to us!

If this is *indeed* the point where Thor has left this forum I want to tell him THANK YOU! This has been my most amazing experience as a lifelong Queen Fan. Couldn't believe it when it was happening and will always cherish it!

You did already primejive lol. But i understand you're happy about the thread. He may be retired now but that doesnt mean he does not have other things in his life that take up his time. He's being really generous about answering our questions and seems to be very encouraging for us to continue asking them. If it was the end of his responses here I think have told have told us. No need to panic or wave goodbye just yet :)
