I don't think Thor would leave from here without explaining why he will no longer answer questions. He is probably busy and no time, but I think he will return.

Hey Thor... If we could only reach you, if we could make you smile, if we could only reach, that would really be a breakthrough......
Seriously though, thanks for your time. Hopefully 'see' you soon.
And on the subject of breaking through, what an under rated and cracking pop song that is.
Oh yeah.

Hey smilefairyqueen Thor seems pretty capable of expressing his thoughts and opinions. If he felt harassed, I'm sure he would have said it. Nobody here has harassed him. He has a life outside of this thread. His not replying in a day or 2 doesn't signal him feeling harassed. How about instead of demanding that people ask better questions or leave, you drop the attitude and stay in your lane.
Spot on. Do we need self appointed arbiters of taste? I think not.
I apologize for my post. It was pretty rude of me to say. Many of you have been asking great questions.
I have not left....I am not offended....helping a friend move....been very busy, that's all.
I will try to answer all questions very soon...I still like it here very much.

PROMISE TO ALL,
If I ever decide to leave this thread, you will ALL be notified. I don't see that happening
though as I feel you have become my new friends as well. I don't mind spending time here,
Any fan of Freddie's is a friend of mine. He gave me so much and sharing it with you
is my pleasure.Even if you've typed a little harsh at times, no one is beyond forgiveness.

@ Thor,
Reassuring words! While I didn't think you would just leave without saying something, I did consider that you might be taking a well-deserved break. You might have noticed that this thread you started back in July now has an extremely dedicated following judging by the number of posts. I daresay this is the most popular thread and it just keeps growing. You have certainly tapped into something powerful with your honest reflections and have drawn together a wide range of people who always delight me with their questions and conversations. Thank you so much.

Rainbow61...wow...well stated!
Hey Thor...would love for you to just ruminate without prodding from "questions" when the spirit moves you.

Hey Jimmie Dean,
My first time to Montreal was in 1967 for "Expo '67", As I was especially
attracted to World's Fairs since '64, '65 when it was in New York, I loved
it. I had convinced my family to make Montreal a vacation destination in
'67. After that, I had not been back to Montreal since Freddie brought me
there. The time crunch made it impractical to sight see. But of course, we
went out with Freddie to a club, which name I do not remember.I met a very
attractive man named Charles who was a Canadian/Maltese working for
Air Canada. We kept a long distance relationship for about 6 months.
Back to Freddie, what I've said so far is unfortunately all I can remember.
It was a quick in and out.

Hi chewy123,
Unfortunately, Freddie did not share his feelings about other bands, at least to me. We
did occasionally discuss opera, but it was limited to only the 10-11 operas that I was
familiar with. If I were more musically inclined, I'm sure we would have talked about
other bands.

Hello matt z,
I have no idea of what Brian, Roger and John thought about MJ. What I do know is that
Freddie was disappointed in not being able to finish this collaboration. He certainly admired
MJ, but I was left with the impression that things didn't work out, with one reason being MJ's
misinterpretation of Freddie's "Get Well" card which I have already discussed. By the way,
my favorite Michael Jackson song was the sweet and mellow "Human Nature" which I listened
to about 100 times on a trip to Florida with my friends (not with Freddie unfortunately).

Hey Adreme,
Freddie did not complain about singing any song over and over,
and why would he? The very successful Queen Over America and
Queen America '82 tours had Freddie at two more high point in his
musical career.
Sorry, but no embarrassing moments on stage were
ever mentioned to me.

Hello LOTV,
As I have never seen and heard Adam Lambert and Queen in
concert, I really don't know. I have no idea at what Freddie
would have said about Adam. No one was imitating his style
when I knew Freddie that I know of.

Hello smilefariequeen,
There are no shit questions here. Those that are rude or too intrusive
are mostly dealt with with silence, However, they are given a chance or two
to present themselves more pleasantly. No one comes here because
they crave nastiness.
