Hi The Squirrelly One,
I agree, Mary is so important in Freddie's life. OK, I may just put a blemish
on her Sainthood. About two weeks after Freddie's death, I visited the Garden
Lodge to visit Phoebe as I had a long scheduled trip to London with a different
friend, as a gateway to our trip to Germany, Switzerland and Italy . After years
of all of them living together, Mary had given Phoebe a "termination of services"
letter to vacate the Garden Lodge after one more week. It struck me as not a
proper separation to just rush him on. She did not come down to greet me as she
had done every time before. I guess she was eager to break ties to old Freddie
friends and begin her new life as a wealthy woman. Don't get me wrong, perhaps
she had her reasons that I don't understand, but I now consider her just as a person
who used to be nice to me.

Hello matt z,
Your thoughts are hilarious and priceless. Thank you brother!

Thor, that matches what Jim and Peter Freestone said in their books. Peter talks about Mary and how she disappointed him after Freddie's death in his second book. Jim Hutton tends to get a ton of crap from fans about his book because he spoke about how Mary wasnt exactly kind when Freddie was dying and after he passed. But it matches Peter's account as well. And now yours. I'm sure Mary did mean a great deal to Freddie, but nobody is a total saint. People automatically scream "lies! " when someone dares mentioning Mary not being polite and sweet every moment of everyday. I'm sorry to hear to she did that to another person Freddie cared about. Thanks for that.
Matt Z, dude you're hilarious! Lol too true

@Thor
I believe it. It sounds very much like what happened to Jim Hutton who told me a few times about how hurt he was at the way she handled things. Peter Freestone also had a similar story in his book called The Afterlife. She was very important to Freddie but I agree she did not seem to be the most kind person toward the end.

Thanks Villiers,
As I don't have all of these books read, I depend on the verification I get
from you Super-fans. Thanks so much.my friend. Please continue with
your great knowledge and wisdom.

Hey Jimmie Dean,
My first time to Montreal was in 1967 for "Expo '67", As I was especially
attracted to World's Fairs since '64, '65 when it was in New York, I loved
it. I had convinced my family to make Montreal a vacation destination in
'67. After that, I had not been back to Montreal since Freddie brought me
there. The time crunch made it impractical to sight see. But of course, we
went out with Freddie to a club, which name I do not remember.I met a very
attractive man named Charles who was a Canadian/Maltese working for
Air Canada. We kept a long distance relationship for about 6 months.
Back to Freddie, what I've said so far is unfortunately all I can remember.
It was a quick in and out.
Thanks for your response :-) You should come back to visit our city. Lots more going on - however probably best to wait until after April... should be getting cold here real soon.
Great Jimmy Dean,
I hope to get there again...wonderful city.By the way,
your capital Ottawa makes Washington DC look like
a slum. Everyone always talks of how friendly Canadians
are and I agree wholeheartedly. Trudeau vs.Trump...OMG
NO COMPARISON with your leader. He is a leader while
Trump is an asshole...surely the BEST asshole ever in history
LOL

Thor, agreed 110% lol. I risked getting kicked out of my firm for getting arrested at an anti Trump rally right before the election. No charges were pressed against us (it was the group next to us that were getting rowdy) but it was an experience I'd happily go through a hundred times over! Hes not my president!
YOU GO VILLIERS!

i believe Trump called washington a sewer - but yes i agree - i've seen both... However, keep in mind Ottawa's a tiny city with very little to do. come to think of it - why did you go to Ottawa?
Back to Trump... It's interesting that he's working with democrats. You have to give him one thing - he's making politics interesting again (pun intended). There hasn't been anything this exciting since Clinton's second term. Russia, Scaramucci's 10 days of excellence, and bipartisanship in under a year.
Obama will probably go down as one of the top 5 presidents after Trump is done with his term (or by the time he's impeached). It was remarkable what he was able to achieve in his 8 years under the circumstances he was under... you guys finally got healthcare... that was uuuge.
Trudeau needs to work on his politics - he hasn't been handling himself too well. I like him - but he's got to work on being more transparent.
***deleted*** triple post!
Ha Ha Jimmy Dean,
I met his mother Margaret Trudeau at Studio 54 in New York the night that
Donna Summer performed there, I think Donna was there by surprise...before
she was "born again" and lost all of her gay following. Margaret seemed
very high. Maybe there were some problems in Justin's upbringing but I
really have no idea...maybe she was a great mother. Perhaps Justin could
just not "Tie his mother down"...LOL
