1980 to 1982 they were at their peak only live. Not the studio records.

Hello, mr Arnold and big thanks for participating! Me also think, you really doin good by revealing this.

1) Maybe my question (or a similar one) has been already posted here...nevertheless, what's your opinion about Jim Hutton? What kind of man was he? Has it changed with the years and after his sadly passing?
How do'ya think - was he a true love of Freddie (perhaps 2nd "Love of His Life" after Mary) or mostly live-in houseworker.and some kind of bushwife?

2) Have Freddy told you any views on his future? Did he make any plans on solo career or life after the "Barcelona" or maybe after "Innuendo".

Good old fred could do no wrong vocally in the early 80's.

John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Sebastian. ..i DO disagree with "my cunt" (Mike Hunt)

He suggests that the partying and drinking didn't have any effect on performances.

But let's be considerate and REAL here.

I'm gonna bet that if you asked 90% of major touring artists of that day IF THEY'D BE RECORDED EVERY LIVE SHOW they'd vehemently state HELL NO!

They couldn't possibly expect any "miscues" or bad notes would be REMEMBERED after the concert experience (unless if brought up by critics or fellow musicians) it's just preposterous.

Thankfully. ....some people HAD recorded these gigs. ...crap quality or not. ....it's an indelible part of the band's history. It's also something sorely desired from uber fans. ...live gigs

That's all true, but it doesn't change the fact that yes, he could do wrong, and he did. That doesn't make him any less of a magnificent singer, of course. Black and white, greyscale, colours, etc.

Might add that it's great to finally have a voice of reason on the QZ message board. Maybe it's a sign of good things to come

We had one before. Possibly two. We can only hope this is the same individual

Oh, calm down people! Of course he wasn't perfect, I just think he was very good in that era, so yea, he wasn't perfect. Had some bad nights, didn't hit every high note. So let's Just say he was at his personal best in the early 80's. Youtube didn't exist back then, every show wasn't shown on the computer like it is now.
