MercurialFreddie is completely correct. He looks like a BAD caricature of Freddie! I wonder if Brian realises it!
Wonder why they did not use Marc Martel. He looks and sounds like Freddie.

I might be totally off here, but I have one suggestion: He is not an actor.
I dont get it, why arent they using the original live aid audio? :(
Something bugs me about Rami but I can't quite put my finger to it. He doesn't possess the command of the stage very well, he looked more like a poser, going through the motions. His overall look, his eyes in particular is just deadpan.
His actions in the video were cringy - why was he waving his hands like a toddler? Freddie was throwing punches! The coach working with him on mastering Freddie's mannerisms should be fired!
Joseph Mazzello, on the other hand, really nailed John's look very well.

I'm not sure... Who is singing in the video ? It does sound a lot like Freddie but the first "mama" and "now he's dead" sound a bit different from the original...Is that Marc Martel ?

I believe it is Marc yes.
Rami Malek looks ridiculous when he is supposed to play those B-flat chords before the beginning of BoRhap! What is he doing with his arms and elbows?
Brian looks fine. Roger looks like Rick Parfitt. John looks great and Ratty looks great.

He is playing a Yamaha piano instead of Steinway. Shame they missed that detail!
Let's hope this is (and I'm sure it is) just a rehearsal for the main shoot and things will improve. Rami is a great actor but I think the Aussie feller from the Channel 5 doc would of been better - Rami will pull the punters in though because of who he is.
Marc Martel has mimicked Freddie in a new studio recreation of the Live Aid audio purely because the original Live Aid audio is only available in a poor quality stereo mix and clearly not good enough to use in the film.
It would be interesting to find out who is playing drums, bass and guitar for this recreated audio - have Brian and Roger recorded their parts? I doubt it, so I'd like to know which musicians have been used.

Roger's hair wasn't that long at Live Aid. And yeah, Rami doesn't move like Freddie. I really don't think they've cast the right guy there at all.

He might look a bit more like Freddie if he lost a couple of stone.
Geez. Looks like one more Queen-project I'm going to take a pass on.
it seems to me that they use the original audio of Live Aid...
I believe that was just a photo op. A good launch for the film. I can't say I saw any film cameras (except those on the stage etc) Editing and work on the close ups etc I think it will look great.
Interestingly, a guy I know has a role (a BIG one) and was there too in his (non-Queen) costume. So maybe it was a dress rehearsal before actual shooting starts.
