There are different types of Queen admirers as I have found and generally they are all a good bunch of people I guess those that go to the conventions are the fans whereas those that regularly post here are the audiophiles maybe not quite the right description but I hope you get where I'm heading with this?........

If Freddie sings SOTS live, I would imagine rehearsals or alternate studio takes must exist and should have made it to disc 2, while the live version and other interesting, missing stuff won't be on disc 3. Given the lack of intention to ever release Queen Anthologies, we won't get to listen to new 1977 recordings for the foreseeable future now. For shame.

Ideally, I would have included Feelings Feelings, other studio takes and even the BBC versions on disc 2, to leave more room for new, truly unheard tracks on disc 3, but this is Queen Productions... Still better than nothing though.

^What he said... Well during one of the podcast with the Queen Archivist Greg has stated that they were working on a really grand project... very very big but then Paul Rodgers happened and they had to shelve it, so who knows, maybe something better is already in the pipeline.

I am too very sad that the release marking the 40th anniversary of such a great album is a half-ass effort at something which could've been done better.
