Thanks for adding that fact.
Well, this is not the most mature thread we have seen over here, is it? ;-) In fact, one could say it is a ridiculous thread. Like comparing Diana Ross to Joni Mitchell. Complete and utter nonsense.
Mighty wise k-m go and tell that to all the millennial on social media who make the comparison between Freddie and Michael Jackson.
k-m, first of all, Diana Ross and Joni Mitchell were never friends and they never even thought of working together. Secondly, if you don't like this thread, you're free to come up with a more interesting one or just ignore this one. Better yet, get in touch with Delilah2 and establish a Queenzone-Knocker-Club. I guarantee that I ain't gonna join it.
Michael Jackson hanging on to Freddie's nuts!
comparing them both is not easy , if possible, thing.
their background is different.
the pop was/is more closer to general public. Rock was/is for special group. Actually Queen never was only rock , so that made them so popular in general. They mix the styles <3
Michael had 6 albums between 1979 -2007
Queen had 15 albums + 2 Freddie's
Michael did 3 tours alone, lets include Victory and Triumph - so 5 from 1980 -- 275concerts + 97 with his brothers for around 20 years.
Queen approximately 700 live for about 12 years
Freddie wasn't that good live??? Ok, lets see Michael after such a hard work ......
I love Michael, but there is no groud to start comparing them. Freddie is just AMAZING!!!!!
And if you still want some comparison - Freddie wasn't afraid from challenges like going on stage with all other stars-of-the-day, but Michael refused to go to Live Aid.

who said that?
As much as i love MJ's music, i have to conclude that he hardly sang live after the Victory tour. The decline started during the Bad tour and all subsequent tours it got worse and worse.of course the dancing was a huge part of the show, but everything was so tightly choreographed that there was little to no spontaneity.
If you put shows side by side from different tours, you can't say there was a lot of variety.
Go watch his
Super Bowl show for example, can't believe he got away with that.
No contest for me.
