snifflese There you are you just answered your own question. You say Lambert is a trained singer, and unlike rock / pop stars he is more consistent than that lot proving Lambert is not a rock/ pop star.
He only pretends he is and many people accept that, particularly the female fans who do not have a brain cell between themselves.
Teenybop artist who can not be taken seriously ever.

For a "trained singer" this is pretty poor. The teacher has to be a goat right?

You really do show your complete lack of any musical knowledge with comments like that.

There's a difference between your opinion on his voice which is subjective and whether he can actually sing which is objective - you appear not to know the difference.

Rockchic: You are the one who has no musical knowledge, you did not know that Dee Snider wore make up and he was with heavy metal gods Twisted Sister who were at a festival this year with Queen & Lambert. There is more to life than worshipping a thai ladyboy

Doesn't matter whether or not you care about QAL - just curious as to what the readers of this board think...

Arguments for:
- Frontman for a Queen collaboration (performing with established rock stars)

Arguments against:
- Little-to-no rock material of his own prior to or after his stints with QAL
- Lack of energy/charisma; poor reciprocity with audiences
- Voice better suited for musical theatre (West End-type or Broadway)
- Lacks grit for proper hard rock
- Poor control/balance of camp persona onstage - overdone
- Unintentionally awkward stage banter
- Inadequate discipline for tours (cannot remember lyrics, etc.)
- Cannot play any musical instruments (debatable as a necessary trait for any rock star, but putting it here for the sake of completeness)

Anything else to add to either list?[/QUOTE]

Yes lots of it:
SInging like a goat
Looking like a twat
taking himself seriously while wearing the disgusting crown and cape
shoving his sexuality into everyone throat
Talking about Freddie's sexuality with no reason
Looking completely lost on a stage
coming across as an arrogant bastard considering himself a legend
Being insincere and fake
Being a manufactured pop fluff "artist"
Mocking the Queen brand (Songs and Maylor)

The list is pretty much endless. QAL is wrong on every imaginable level. Destroying the legacy and making Maylor look like a laughing stock.

Wow that was a fantastic post and probably the best post you have ever done on here and to the point. well done mate.
i agree with every single word.
Many people on the streets who are not true Queen fans probably agree even though they may like a couple of Queen songs.
Everyone i have spoken to about it say there is only one man for Queen and that was Freddie, he was the heart of Queen and without him the band is a skeleton ripping the fans off big time.

My post was irony, sorry you didn't get that. Of course I knew who he was and what he wore, that was my point, you were going on about Lambert wearing make up and heels and quoting Bowie and Dee etc as examples of true rockers. I was meaning they all wore make up including Ozzy, though I'll grant you his was more of the Alice Cooper variety, but regardless Bowie especially played with androgyny. Dee wore a shit ton of make up and heels very like Lambert's. Not that make up and heels has anything to do with vocal ability or musical knowledge.

Have you two set a date yet?

Vocal Harmony We are the only two on here who actually see the state of Queen and the way they have deteriorated since the arrival of the American Idol looser.
Many Lambert fans have never witnessed Freddie Mercury in a live situation and if they did they would be stunned then appalled at there silly mistakes for worshipping Lambert.
You have cheesy taste in Music if you accept all this hype on here over that mincing machine Lambert. He will never make a rock star ever.

Well, Mr Happy. If I were an impartial observer and read your posts and then read some of the females' posts, I doubt that yours would score too high in the brain power category. Your writing style is not very advanced and your observations are ridiculous. I wouldn't go patting myself on the back yet. The females' posts beat you out in sentence style, context and content. They are well written, display excellent vocabulary and are thoughtful. Yours not so much, dude.

Doesn't take much to set you off does it, even when you're faced with the truth.

Given the chance to debate or explain things from your stand point you go back to insults, which predictably proves Snifflese right.

Can we close the case now with the result that Lamebird is not a rockstar but a twat and his followers are sad tasteless grannies lusting for a ladyboy
