On another thread, The Game was the 80's best Queen album, happystar chose to form the argument that Queen were brilliant because the sales figures of The Game prove it.
Myself and another forum member took him to task by saying that if sales figures are the barometer by which musical ability is judged then there are other acts that sold more and are therefore better than Queen.
He choose to read the last line and miss quote it, either because that is what he chose to do, he didn't read the rest of the post, he is to stupid to understand the irony of his own view and doesn't understand the reverse view. Either way I did not say Queen are an inferior band.
Of course in happystar's world Freddie is untouchable and the other three were faceless numbers along for the ride. And while if is OK to rubbish the others especially Brian and Roger, never say anything against Freddie or the band as a collective if it involves Freddie. Follow these simple rules and life with happystar will be forever happy. However if you have a more adult or musical understanding and you choose to question happystar, beware, he won't like it and he will miss quote you to prove his point.
