Star? Absolutely yes. Queen covers genres that are so much more than "rock." Disco, Rockabilly, Pop Rock, Operatic, Arena Rock. Give me anyone who could cover all of that. There is no one alive that could pull it off. Adam is Queen's front man, good enough for Brian and Roger, good enough for me. The QAL show is that good. . Best concert I've been to in a very long time. Freddie is dead, been dead a long time. Dead men can't perform live. Rest in peace Freddie. Myself and three generations of my family are forever grateful that Adam is keeping that music alive and on the road! Thank you Brian and Roger for Adam, and thank you for bringing Queen's music (live) to my generation

Sorry, no AL isn't Queen's front man. No matter what happens, he won't be a Queen front man in my eyes.
Another AL fan who 'points out' as if any Queen fans don't know that Freddie is dead and with the first or second post you make here. Hmm.
I just hope you realise a couple of things at least. Freddie's and Queen's legacy is in no danger out of dying out, and it's not because of AL that the music is living on.

When I was playing the Playmobil teaser trailer yesterday, this video was on the same page.

For those who doubt Adam’s unique talent, take note of this analysis by a vocal coach:

Thanks. If I didn't have sweetcaroline and now you to remind me that Fred is dead, I don't know if I would have remembered.

The problem is that some of you don't seem to realize it when you make some of the statements that you do. After reading here an alien might assume after reading your posts that Freddie is still waiting to sing and Brian and Roger gave him the boot. That is the way you act. It is nobody's fault that Freddie is not here to sing and it is nobody's business but Roger and Brian's if they wish to choose someone else to tour with. Adam did not insert himself in that position. He was sought out and asked by the remaining members of Queen. It seems as if you dislike Adam for that reason.
Someone has to tour with them and I also believe he is the only voice around that can handle the whole catalog due to its difficulty in singing. No one else has the range and the charisma that it takes to pull it off. People like him, they like Brian, Roger and Adam together and they go to see multiples of the concert. This tour is already practically sold out in many venues. They have added 2nd shows at MSG and LA Forum. It isn't just because it is a Queen concert, but the fact that they love this particular group with Adam. There must be a lot of people that don't have a problem with Adam touring as a plus and they consider him the new front man for QAL. Even James Corden said that Adam is a better front manfor Queen than he would be! That is a hilarious skit if you haven't seen it.
I don't understand why your knickers are in a twist when someone points out the obvious. I also don't understand the stubbornness in someone who keeps saying the Queen legacy was always alive and the concerts have nothing to do with its resurgence. You are kidding yourself if you believe that one. They have now sung to millions and millions of people, been in magazines front and center, in social media and on TV as QAL and thus gained lots of new younger fans in addition to tweaking older fan's memories. Not everyone in the world is as attuned to Queen and their legacy as you are. Most people never gave it a thought. I would bet there were still lot of younger people who didn't know some of the songs were sung by Queen. The music is spreading and with the biopic it is getting out even further into people's consciousness. I would think that is a plus for Queen's legacy.

A whole bunch of straw men knocked over there. Well done Einstein.

What makes you so brilliant? All you do is mock people and it doesn't take much to do that! Stupid people always make fun of others and it is not an attractive trait.

Since you seem to think Queen fans on a Queen forum need to be reminded that Freddie Mercury is dead, I think it's obvious who is stupid here.

Nope, some of you seem to disregard that fact all the time. It is not my problem. Some of you act as if Freddie is still living and breathing and was kicked to the curb by Adam. I also don't get why speaking of his demise is taboo around here. Ties in with the rest of what I said.

I still think if the doubters would go to a live show instead of peeking at videos, they would be surprised how magnificent it is. Takes your breath away! Queen music is the most powerful ever created and the production matches it in every way!

I doubt John asked AL to do it. ;-)
Call it stubbornness, but it's a fact Queen's and Freddie's legacy has never died out. The last couple of months is proof of it, the music is huge no one can deny that, and it's not Because of Q+AL.
When people feel like AL is the new singer of Queen, that's something I'm never going to agree about. Then the snarkiness some people have to say Freddie's dead and not coming back. That's exteme distasteful. We know Freddie isn't coming back, but some of us are proud of what he left us with and if I can't say that on a Queen board...the mind boggles.
