Rainbow61,
Thank for the link to the new site, will definitely ad to my reading! I love reading about the concerts. The dialogue the band had during the shows, accounts form fans that were at the shows, and the old reviews. It is so interesting and educational.

Thank you Saint Jiub,
I found that article on AIDS very informative. When I first heard of AIDS I was convinced it was due to inhaling Amyl Nitrate (an important emergency medication used for heart stimulation in emergency situations) but abused by many, gay and straight, to enhance a sexual high in the bedroom and on the disco dancefloor. I immediately stopped using it from that day and now When HIV was determined to be transferred during sex, I slapped on a condom every time and continuing until this day. I was lucky, many of my friends were not.

Hi Thor,
I'm relatively new here but have read through both threads and really appreciate the time you have taken with us. I am really looking forward to the book.
The Rock Montreal Concert is one of my favorite and part of the reason is I absolutely love Freddie in those tiny white shorts he wears at the end. Was this the concert you attended? Did he ever discus with you all how he decided on any of his stage wear? I actually really loved anytime he came on stage with the shorts and bare feet.

Ha Ha Freddienotfreddy,
I will repeat a phrase of Freddie's when asked that same question. "Darling, when you have absolutely nothing left to give them (meaning the concert crowds) give then WARDROBE!

FreddieNotFreddy thank you I'm so glad you loved the Phoebe/Freddie video too
Ironically I was also just watching some of the famous "white shorts" concert today. Great stuff! He got as close to performing naked as he could didn't he?!
St Juib thanks for sharing that link. Very informative. I like the interactive timeline. Shame on USA for taking so long to act

I do hope we do get to see they wonderful sounding book. You've really whet my appetite.
Hoping you have success in this venture
Kindest Regards to you both.

I am working very hard on it. Self publishing or on-line publishing will be considered the day after April 30th.
I AM still optomistic!

Dear Thor,
I wonder whether you and/or Freddie had ever heard of Klaus Nomi in the early 1980s?

Thor,
I think I asked a question a while back that got put on the backburner due to the holidays, so I'll ask again, when you guys would hang out with Freddie was it with the intention that you would be going out to party or did you have like a guys night in?
Also, if you called and talked to him while he was at home did he ever have you talk to his cats? lol

Hi Stevedabudgie,,
Did he know this person in London, New York, or on the 1982 American portion of the Queen Tour. If it was in New York, there is a possibility that I met Klaus, or maybe on the tour, but if in London, we didn't start going there to visit Freddie until the mid '80s not the early '80s and we never went to Munich when he was there.

Ha Ha Anniebee,
As far as a boys night IN goes, I will quote Freddie's own words, "Every Night's a Party at Melina's (meaning Freddie's) Mansion."
He had a way of turning all of our visits whether in New York or later, in London into a Extra-Special Moments for us. So, you probably would never see us playing Scrabble (I love that game) in a quiet, controlled atmosphere. Not Freddie's style...LOL
