I have complimented his acting job in two messages. I haven't even seen him perform his so called "tribute act" or whatever it is. The guy did a nice job in a pretty average TV-biopic. I have seen much worse.

One of the things that drew me into this thread once I found it was that this is such a wonderful group of people who have come together over a shared love of an amazing rock group called QUEEN. And because of this, I see in these wonderful people a group who really embodies QUEEN'S values. I have found so many Queen songs that are about a better, kinder world. A world without hate. A would that values inclusiveness, kindness, and respect. For the life of me I can't find a SINGLE Queen song, quote, or interview that espouses hatred, judgement, rudeness. In fact those are the very traits that our boys were against with every fiber of their being.
In other words...how very un-QUEEN-like.

because of their American Airlines flight attendant schedule. Lee and I were always able to manipulate our work schedules
to attend. Mine was easy because I was working 12-hour shifts 3-4 days a week and if I needed, could schedule for
3-nights working, 7 days off, and then 4 nights working again, all during a two week period. Lee also always managed to
change his work schedule. He was loved at every job he's ever had and that gave him a lot of Lee-Way...lol

I have two slightly off-topic-questions, which you might want to answer anyway:
I am not one for conspiracy theories, but I can also not ignore the fact that we still don't really got to know, where HIV really did spring from. First it was the Green Monkeys (do you remember Dr. Koop - Reagen administration?), then it was supposed to have come from Haiti, and finally we were being told that it sprang from apes to humans in Africa, from where it went around the world. I have a book here called „A Higher Form Of Killing“, which features original scripts from debates in the US-Congress, in which someone from the US military asks for federal funds to develop a virus which will affect only certain ethnical groups of people. Having read the book, I wonder even more why HIV/AIDS is still mostly affecting gay men in the western world. Did you ever wonder if we really had been told all the facts about the sudden deadly appearance of the virus in mainly the gay community in the late 70's/early 80's?
Then I would like to know how you reacted when more and more men got sick without knowing what GRID, as HIV/AIDS was known at that time, actually was and how it
was transmitted. Was there really a sense of community before HIV/AIDS among gay men or did it develop in the wake of the disease? Having grown up in rural Germany and having identified as a gay youth at the time the horrible news were spreading over from the US, it really shocked many of us over here to the point that especially us young gay guys didn't have sex at all for a good decade. I hope the following link is accurate and legitimate. It appears that HIV was originally contracted by humans through "butchering and consumption of monkey meat".
