Thor, I’ve just thought of a question. After being here all this time and reading the fan conversations about everything Freddie, do you and Lee feel our conceptualization of him as a person is more or less accurate, or is there anything you feel we’re missing or misinterpreting? I’m sure you’d correct any big specific misconceptions, but I’m wondering in terms of a general vibe.

I completely forgot that Koalas have Chlamydia! It affects their health quite a bit and it's extremely saddening.

They're still cute, however!

Thor (and Lee!) I do have a question when you get a chance- did you feel there was a great divide between Freddie the person on stage and Freddie the man off stage? From what I've read it seems to be quite a difference, but it makes sense-we're all a bit different at work, and most of us aren't on stage in front of thousands.
C
Chlamydia? That's a sexually transmitted disease isn't it.How do they get it from other bears?
C
Doughnut, where are you?are you busy ? Check your PM and tell me what you think.I would really value your opinion I may just be taking it wrong.I certainly dont want to get butt hurt for no reason lots of laughs.

A Fun Freddie story, hummmm...our future publisher won't let us. So, let's leave it as this: F = F, or rather, Freddie Equals Fun!

Now someone was worried about my love-life. When Brandon and I split up as a couple after seven years, it did not bother either of us...it was time, way back in 1993.
The history about my relationships is as follows

#1 Terry Hammond- 1973 to 1975. He was the piano player at Marie's Crisis Café and basically taught me everything I know about Broadway and Opera. We even attended the seven hour, complete, four part, "Der Ring des Nibelungen" by Richard Wagner at New York's Metropolitan Opera House. Not once, but twice within 10 days. SOOO long but really good. The part of Brunhilda was played by a very famous (now deceased) Swedish Opera Star, Birgit Nilsson.
I left him, so he did not want to stay friends with me and later moved to Florida. I saw him one time in Ft. Lauderdale at a club where I heard he was playing.

#2 Billy Lucia- 1977 to 1978. He lived in Philadelphia and I lived in New York. Because I was a bartender, he assumed I was cheating on him every night. Long distance did not help us stay together.

#3 Brian Parisi- 1979 I loved him, he did not love me, dating lasted about eight months. Never saw him again despite trying to connect several times.

#4 Brandon Domitrowsky- 1985-1993. Good relationship. What we did best was travel and we traveled around the world or the US about every month. We remain friends to this day although this friendship has become a little strained over the last year...(no comment about this just now)

#5 I am currently interviewing for #5. I like thin to moderately built guys who have a good working mastery over masculine traits, are smart, have a good sense of humor and then, above all, KINDNESS. Kindness toward me and toward others (a critical trait).

Well...With all THAT...NO WONDER I have been single since 1993!...LOL

Ha Ha Koala,

I think the conceptualizations of Freddie are very accurate. But when it comes to that female on male 50 Shades of Freddie stuff....well, I just sit back and let you all have your fun...LOL
C
Thor,You are such a nice sweet guy no way should you be single.
C
No that game is too weird and I dont like dark headed men.More like Roger Taylor man what I could do to him.Maybe Jennifer Anniston.

Hey Sweet and Tender,
Freddie the performer was 100% dedicated to his thousand and thousands of fans for the duration of ANY show.
But, nearly immediately, when the show was over, he easily slipped into Freddie the Friend mode and couldn't wait to be whisked off to the clubs around the US and Canada. Of course however, when In London, he couldn't wait to be whisked off to the Garden Lodge with us in tow. The entertainment, champagne and other party favors would start in the living room or, weather permitting, in the garden itself.

Thor - what do you mean by "...a good working mastery over masculine traits..." or do I not want to know???

And thanks for the update about Lee, our little workaholic

When you guys all went out, Freddie, you, and Lee - I know you said there were not many woman around where you went - but seriously all 3 of you MUST have gotten a ton of female attention. How did you all deal with it?
C
Shilling, My girlfriend in high school would get very angry with me because I would get Male attention and she was what society labels gay.I on the other hand didnt have a preference so I loved male attention she just didnt get it.But I ended up marrying our best guy friend so she didnt handle that well.We had so many fights over guys she thought I was flirting with. She would blow guys off if they hit on her .She was beautiful.Guys liked her but she just didnt like them.I dont get this whole sticking with one specific sex thing.I think a person should be free to love who they want at any particular time.

Welcome Selkie! I'm sorry for the loss of your sister, but I like the way you choose to celebrate her life with good memories.

Thor, the sentences were extending off the page one day last week too. I don't think it is a matter of how long the sentence is, but rather something technical with QZ. We are about to find out because I deliberately made this long.

Also, Thor, thanks for sharing your romantic history. You are one brave man to do that. Sorry to hear that you and Brandon are a little strained right now. I've always viewed you as one of the few success stories when it comes to maintaining a friendship after the ending of a romantic relationship. Then again, Freddie was able to do that too with Joe.

NeverTooLate, did you start reading the Evans/MInns book? After you mentioned that you had just gotten it I decided to reread mine too. I wanted to try to see it as you would, with fresh eyes.

Hey wait a second Thor...……...you just said this: "A Fun Freddie story, hummmm...our future publisher won't let us." Was that a hint of good news?????????

This reminds me of a Dave Barry quote that I slightly altered:

"A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is NOT a KIND person."
Socialism: There's one for you, nineteen for me Should five per cent appear too small Be thankful I don't take it all

Saint, please explain what you mean I'm having a blonde moment.
