Welcome Selkie!! Keeping memories alive of those we have lost is very important!!

Katydyd5- Could you tell me if there are two different Minns/Evans books? The one I have is titled "This Was The Real Life-The Tale of Freddie Mercury" but there is a different one titled "Freddie Mercury: This Is the Real Life"

Thor- sounds like you are getting closer to publication- exciting news!!

Emdee,Glad to see you sweetie.

Hi everyone! Just thought I’d check in since it’s been a while! Looks like you all have been busy, goodness! I haven’t read through it all, I’ll have to take some time to do that since I left off in the 150s. Heck the last few pages have been interesting, chlamydia, koalas and Thor’s love life, oh my!

Thor and Lee, I hope all is well with the book!

Chevyman- I never even noticed your punctuation- lol- do you think I could talk Thor into becoming an English teacher- he has a good eye!!
E
Clarification- I am just so used to seeing writing with no punctuation, improper grammar, and poor spelling that it doesn't even phase me.
Thor - this was a compliment to you!!

Forgive me everyone for babbling!!
It's the weekend!! Hope everybody has a good one!!!

On with the Freddie conversations!!

Emdee,I was raised from the time was born till I was thirteen on a Indian reservation. My father was full blood Cherokee Indian so I was taught grammar school at home.By the time I moved to town off reservation I was really behind.I managed to catch up though.Unfortunatly my punctuation was something that wasnt really taught to me well. Its really a different being raised and being schooled in that environement.Im not ashamed those are my blood and my people.Im telling you but I just didnt feel like I needed to explain myself to anyone. But thank you for your kind words sister.

Emdee,I'm gonna tell you something really funny my mom was a white woman. Her family were full of teachers her grandmother ,mom, and her sister became a teacher isn't that funny. But unfortunately I wasnt around them in my early years.

Oh my God...,
Please, before Lee reads this, I completely forgot to include Joe Scardilli in my list.

Joe S. 1977 to 1978. I met him with his good friend Lee Nolan on my 22nd birthday at a short lived but fantastic club called Ice Palace 57 (on 57th St. of course). Our relationship was fast and furious but it ended in a long term friendship until he was sick and wanted nothing to do with his old friends (brain cancer probably was the reason for this).

I will check back if this alters my previous time line.

So...move Billy Lucia and Brian Parisi to later dates...sorry to all of them.

Not QAS,

A good working mastery over masculine traits means a person who acts mostly like a man (yes, in the straight man way) than like a woman (in a feminine way). Sorry if this sounds intolerant but it is just my preference. As a child, I wanted to be a straight boy and act like a straight boy.

Emdee, I'm pretty sure there was only one Evans/Minns book, but I could be wrong. I never use the title because I can never remember it. Were you the one telling me you had just gotten it? I'm sorry if it was you and I directed my comment to NeverTooLate. Either way, I hope anyone reading it really enjoys it.

So good to see you Annie! I thought we had lost you.

Thor, thanks for the clarification. I thought Joe S. should have been on the list, but what do I know? I always thought he was really cute.

Hey Katydyd,
Unfortunately, my statement was NOT a hint. It's just that certain people have warned us not to give too much of the book away in this forum! A little late...lol...but as I've said, there is plenty more that you don't know.
T
Oh SURE,
Now I'm the fuss-budget who requires good punctuation...thanks y 'all…just kidding!

Thanks Katydyd, unfortunately life just got away from me. I traveled to Minneapolis to visit my best friend of 30 years and you know how it goes, your job works you to death before and after vacation. It was a good reset though, sometimes you just need to be with good friends who know you and love you unconditionally!

Welcome back Anniebee...where you been girl!
