Back to work on my taxes...three days left. See you tomorrow.
Thanks Thor! Pretty much work work work traveling work work work lol. You seem to have had some traveling adventures since the last time I was here. I got lucky going to Minneapolis in between blizzards lol.
Katydyd5- it appears that they are the same book but published in different years- don't know why the title changed.
Hmmmm, Emdee, I wonder if any more was added to the later edition? I'll have to check my edition tomorrow. I'm too lazy to go downstairs now.
I'm so far behind on reading posts, I'm skipping around.
On the issue of length of sentences, I noticed sometimes the site doesn't wrap the sentences in posts and then you have to scroll horizontally all the way over to read the rest of what someone posted. I don't know why that happens, as it's not consistent. Perhaps it affects those who are using a mobile or tablet device vs a computer? I use my Mac laptop exclusively and haven't experienced the issue on my own posts.

Fellow Book Lovers:
I'm about to start reading the David Evans/David Minns book. I'm finding I'd really enjoy discussing the various books with folks who have also read them (a mini FM book club, if you will). Any interest in that kind of a discussion? If there's interest I'll start a thread for it.

I wanna know where these bears get chlamydia.Do they get it from the other bears?. Are you just joking?
NeverTooLate, that sounds like a good thread. I'm currently reading Peter Freestone's book and have the book you refer to on my Kindle to start next. The thread might also be a way to warn folks about the books that are full of false stories.
Do they give the bears antibiotics to get rid of the disease? Its been on my mind all evening.
ChevyMan, my money is on koala orgies being the cause of the problem.
@FreddieDarling, how would you classify Brian May’s posh accent? I’m the American who had erroneously referred to Freddie Mercury’s accent as "British accent."
CHEVYMAN, I appreciate the explanation of your background. Poor punctation, spelling and grammar certainly do NOT reflect a lack of character or intelligence. My paternal grandmother was illiterate and never received any formal education. BTW, koalas catch chlamydia like humans – through sexual activity, and mothers can pass to babies during delivery or when the joey feeds off its mother. I second your sentiment about Thor.
Brava, doughnut! You dared to ask Thor a question many of us wondered but never dared to ask. Your persistence paid off. I thought Thor would completely ignore it, but he practically sent a curriculum vitae (CV) of names and dates! LOL
Thor, you crack me up. Should we send pre-qualified applicants your way? I understood what you meant by "good working mastery over masculine traits." You want a gay man - who can change a flat and watches ESPN(+) or a straight man - whose gay.
@emdee0809, the date/time stamp of Queenone reflects Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or Universal Time. It’s the London time zone. QZ is a British Web site. I live in one of the states of the U.S. that falls under the time zone of Eastern Standard Time (EST). GMT is 4 hours ahead of my time. Presently, it’s Fri., 11:58 PM, EST, in my neck of the woods. If I’m correct, QZ shall post a date/time of Sat., 4/13/19, 3:58 AM.

According to Villiers the version of the David Evans/Minns book to get is the kindle version of This Was the Real Life. David Minns wrote about his relationship with Freddie. This part was published after Minnsy’s death and is only in this version, as of late 2017.
I keep telling myself I’d like to read this book “someday” and if we’re going to have a book club thread, then perhaps that day should be now!
