Freddie was living a completely different lifestyle in Munich than he was in New York. Remember....Freddie liked to live in the" present" which was our experience in New York. We assumed he was living in the present in Munich. We did stay in touch with birthday cards and occasional phone calls. @THOR That makes sense Freddie was cool that way. I have never been very good at living for now. So that's one Freddie inspiration for me and I'm working on my posture cause Freddie had good posture and I don't I blame my high school back pack. I know that's random but I saw a rerun of Jimmy Fallon with Rami on it and he said that was one thing he had to work on to play Freddie was his posture. People seem to have different opinions so who knows. Something happened to make Freddie leave Munich like he did. Phoebe says Freddie's love of Munich was being replaced by his passion for GL & Jim. I personally think what was happening at that time was some of the reason. Sadly it was too late.
Judging on an interview Barbara gave, she didn't like the Freddie she encountered at GL because it seems their wild partying days were more than likely over. and She bitched about Jim saying he was only good for the cats and the garden .
Seems to me his years at GL were very happy and he was a lot calmer.

From Pheobe's second book he talks about also rumors she and Freddie were getting married started to pop up in German newspapers so that was part of it, though Freddie couldn't prove it he knew she was most likely behind it. Garden Lodge being ready and Jim and Freddie becoming more serious plus the marriage rumors. I think a lot of things just fell into place and Pheobe also said that once Freddie bought half of that apartment with Barbara he was over it before it was even finalized.
PF says that when things got permanent Freddie usually bolted. idk...but you are right Barbara was hot stuff in Germany she was not in England, plus she had Mary to contend with there. Pheebs knew Barbara well too and knew that when she was out of Germany she wasn't the "star" that Freddie had related to. My question is, if they had sex, we all have figured out Freddie was most likely HIV+ by then then why didn't she get the virus? I mean seems to me if they did have sex which I highly doubt, Barbara would have most likely (not for sure) contracted it. It just seems like the most likely thing if they were in a sexual relationship. IDK

I can't watch this yet since I'm at work and no you tube allowed but does it mention the book at all? I'm super curious about the book considering I've been hearing about it for months.

Rudi may have some anecdotes from the studio because he and Hans Rossacher were the "torpedo twins" who shot all their videos after about 1985 and shot the one vision documentary. I don't know if they ever socialized. I don't think so, but music was important to Freddie and it's not an area we get a lot of insight on so that would be cool. I know there were times when all the guys could be very weird about cameras in the studio and a lot of stuff was just the four of them so who knows?

Perk,I don't think Barbara had sexual relations of any Type with Freddie and I stress the word type.I don"t know why she would say that When she was busted lying about it she didnt even care who does that.Everyone that knows him knew it was a lie.Maybe she had a dream about it or something and thought it was real who knows.As for as her not liking the change in him when she visited garden lodge maybe because he wasnt around her anymore.
I forget where I read it but it stated Barbara would come in the front of the bar and Freddie would go out the back.That doesnt sound very promising to me.He might of been trying to get away from her .I do believe she was probably attracted to him and maybe it just went a little to far you think.

Well,I dont know if any of you have seen Brian May's response to a fans question on Instagram today.He apparently doesnt like for fans to question why the biopic portrayed Jim and Mary the way it did along with many other innaccuracys.He told the fan that it basically doesnt matter if things were portrayed inaccurate the film was a success. They had to change his personal life to consider the respect of all viewers.He also said fans had all the wrong information about his life because it's based on interviews the press and tabloid magazines.He said the biopics success speaks for its self and he feels it was depicted correctly.i would like to know what you guys think about this.I believe it was full of false shit that probably never happened.Im not gonna attack Brian as a person because I like him but he done this one all wrong and it really has caused so many fights and bullying on social media.I feel if it had been handled a little differently Things may not have gotten as bad as they have.
