I'm conflicted on this subject. Viz tells us the tales of both Fru T Bun the horny baker, and the Drunken Bakers who definitely aren't,

It's clearly a tail of young lust and partying. The perspective of a boy or girl to another boy or girl.

"I am 41 but I have a school babe. I still see her around town. She was the girl I fancied at school. I suggest if the OP is concerned then they should call the Police and make a complaint. Or call the Daily Mirror first."

Is what I would be saying if you were being serious :-)

Yeah, this song always made me noise. It's like, not suitable for a 2017 audience hahaha

Pretty sure I read somewhere Brian wrote part of it as a teen (currently I do not have the source so don't ask!) and it's simply about a teen relationship. Not a nonce anthem haha[/QUOTE]

I read that somewhere too, also when I first heard this song it reminded me of my first boyfriend, who was really annoyed at my parents for being 'in the way,' not just about sex, about everything. His parents were far less strict shall we say.

But I've always interpreted this song as being sung by a frustrated male teen.

Didn't he start it in the Canaries while he was doing his Phd?

Yes. He wrote it while playing with his huge telescope up a hill.

Disgusting.

I always understood this song like this:a boy loves girl very much but her parents don't like him and don't approve their relationship. He wants to take her to a crazy party but understands that his family will never accept him but he still tries and imagines that everything would be ok. if her family somehow disappeared at least one night.

Everyone can understand the song in its own way.

^ I wonder if that verse in FBG alludes to an incident in Freddie's upbringing?

More likely Brian's upbringing ...

Freddie's upbringing was at St Peter's, an all boys school in Panchgani India ... not too many big fat nannies there.
