^I'm not sure Poland is a small European country. It is bigger than UK and Italy, 4 times bigger than Austria and Czech Republic, 7.5 times bigger than Netherlands, 160351 times bigger than Monaco, and 710647 times bigger than Vatican.

Remember - The bigger the better, in everything!

Please do not mention Russia :)

You do realize someone is going to quote that right back at you when you get a kidney stone someday, right?

Ok, then Mr. Lambert is really successful in a big European country ??. Actually, Poland isn’t small, but it is considered a small country by ITunes and other streaming statistics. Just to clarify.

I was trying to quote someone much more famous than me to make my statement more powerful.

Using bootleg terminology, my quote was a 2nd Gen. copy and very lossy one.

Thanks for this info. I didn't know that.

Lambert is well known in Poland. At least 3 songs of him are (or were) played on radio here. I don't know his music so I'm not sure exactly how many. Also he made a guest appearance on The Voice Of Poland one or two times.

I'm not aware of Lambert have any presence in the UK. His involvement with "Queen+" must have surely got him some attention outside of the US, but not sure how many of a fanbase shift could ever occur apart from those strange older women who get obsessed with gay celebs and singers (what IS that about?).

He is a mediocre singer with a voice that most people wouldn't like, with no memorable songs, whose career is based off TV exposure in the US and then with Brian/Roger who themselves were involved in said TV show. Simple as that. I'm sure he's having fun though and raking it in.

As a side note and response to someone earlier - Poland isn't bigger than the UK in terms of population. Although I suppose, at least half of the population IS currently in the UK. OOF!

To be honest Adam Lambert is nothing but a mediocre singer, he contributes nothing but a west end musical singing voice to Queen, which is cheap and nothing special.
Michael Ball would sound exactly the same as Lambert if he was fronting Queen. May & Taylor have destroyed Queen now through there greed for getting back on the road.
Before anyone says oh but have you seen Adam live, he is great, well i have see him on tv and to be honest i am so embarrassed that he joined Queen as he makes Queen look like a huge joke.

"Adam Lambert is nothing but a mediocre singer", you've just lost your credibility right there. Adam's voice might be too Broadway, too high, too clean...not your cup of tea...all those are personal opinions and feelings and are fine but to call him a mediocre singer is just plain ignorant.

And the huge joke you are talking about has been together for 6 years now and selling out worldwide. QAL has also garnered pretty much unanimous praise by critics and concertgoers this time around. But of course, someone who has not even seen the shows live think they know better. Whatever.

I would say les than mediocre singer..............
Oh boy, been together for 6 years and they have created all this new material, such talent......................please

What does creating new songs have anything to do with Adam's talent as a singer? Or do you simply not know the difference between a singer and a songwriter?

I will concede on one point though, if QAL wants to be taken seriously as a band, then they should write new material. Otherwise, they will pretty much remain more of a nostalgic act. This is a decision B & R & Adam have to make,l. At this point in their career, they might not want to anymore and it is unfortunate. I'd really like to hear what a QAL album will sound like.

I think possibly Brian and roger are unsure about making music with Adam in case it may taint their legacy as a whole I.e with Freddie and John, I don't think The Cosmos Rocks was much of a big success it might as well been a Paul Rogers album as there was nothing on that album that was Queen I did like the album for what its worth, I think if they did an album with AL it would be more pop than rock due to AL not having a rock voice etc. Whatever Queen keep saying about it not being about the money I'm not convinced in the slightest it guts me saying it but like others have said they are nothing more than a tribute act being fronted by a drag queen singing pop music.

Happystar Don't care if you like Adam or not but I would argue with the Michael Ball comment. I've seen QAL live and watched loads of videos and never once have I heard Adam sing like this. https://youtu.be/xH_bJ4yv_N8?t=24s

The kid could sing...no debating that, but he's not a rock singer. Dragon Attack, Stoned Cold Crazy sound weak as hell by Rock standards. Most Rockers are polite when they say they like Queen/Lambert as a rock band. Halford, Henry Rollins, even slayer said the kid could sing....but It's missing something, oh yea Freddie Mercury's Raspy voice. Read between the lines what Kerry king meant. He meant a proper Rock singer. A good tribute act is Queen + anything. Just like The Who. ....over time people will only remember Queen songs. Rodgers, Lambert will be forgotten. Obviously Rodgers is a legend, but he'll be remembered for his work with Free and Bad Company. Saying that....Just enjoy the music, don't take it so serious. Brian and Roger are at the end.
