VOCAL HARMONY I do not have to justify my comments to anyone as shallow and arrogant as you.
Everyone can go to page 5 of this thread and see the evidence crystal clear what you said.
Save you threats by sending me personal messages because you are a cunt.

So you've used that same insult again. You're so well educated, aren't you.

The PM I sent you was not a threat in anyway. It was simply asking you to re tract the insult. But you chose to repeat in this thread instead .

You no longer have until four pm to cast yourself in a better light, you used your chance by repeating the insult.

If you really believe my message to you was a threat, re post it here for every member to clearly see.

Meanwhile I will go ahead and contact the site administration.

Listen Mr arrogant i do not have to justify myself to you or anyone on here, and i wont be doing anything you say.
Who the hell do you think you are making demands on here?
You always sabotage my threads because you want a good old scrap, and no one up to now is as nasty as you on here.
I have had some sensible people discuss the topic of my thread with dignity and then you come on and start with faffing on other sales.
The thread was not about sales but what Queen album people prefer in the 80s, so stick to the topic or do not participate .

Those songs that you mention are not as good as anything from The Game album. The sales of The Game album proves that one.
To appreciate decent Queen tunes you must have good taste in music dears ![/QUOTE]

Oh really, are you sure about that. . . .

Rather than musical merit you seem to have judged The Game on sales. It wasn't me that brought the subject of sales into this thread!

It wasn't only me who pointed the hole in your thinking on this.

Your problem, not mine!

VH I do not have any prob at all.
But you seem to have a problem with me so that is your choice.
We lock horns quite regular on here so you need to stop replying and save us both from the grief.
End of discussion unless you want to argue about that as well?

I commented on someone else's post. The problem was that you didn't agree with me. As usual it becomes an issue with you.

So maybe you need to stop relying. Remember in a different thread I did just that, I didn't post anything for two weeks, but you carried on ranting and bringing my name up.

Today, as before it reaches a point where you turn to hurling abuse, you've done it countless times to other members as well as me

Looks to me like Happystar has missed the point again or either that he's trolling us and knows exactly what he is doing. In case it's the former I can only say that VH's words do not imply that this is his actual opinion. He is merely using your logic. So if your logic assumes that albums sales show us something is the best, then what YOU are actually implying (not VH) is that some of Britney's and Beiber's offerings are better than Queen's "The Game" because they sold more. VH is merely pointing out the flaw in your argument, but you're twisting it and to be brutally honest, this thread is ridiculous because of it. His words are simply to show you up, he is in no way suggesting that some of the chart shite is ACTUALLY better than Queen. I think you actually have the capacity to see this and are just attempting to rile.
Have you switched it off and then on again?

Skyetv: Can i just point out that Vocal Harmony also said that there is better performers out there than Queen and that has nothing to do with "sales" as he keeps crowing on about!

No, you can't point this out to anyone - and I'll tell you why! It's his OPINION and that doesn't make him ANY LESS of a Queen fan. Just stop being such a sycophant and get on with your life. I've said it before to you on other threads, but here it is again - this is not a competition!!! Your arguments are really thin and you've now spilled the same old boring rhetoric over to this thread.

Liking other bands means jack shit.

You're making yourself look a halfwit. You need to stop this.

The Game and News of the World are a bit more stripped down in sound and seem most suited musically to the tastes of the US rock market hence they are the best selling of Queens discography there. To me this indicates the US don’t really love the key characteristics of Queen , the multi layered harmonies , guitar orchestration and occasional eccentricity .
It is a fine album though.

The Game is a great album, I love it. I agree totally with your comment about the US. If happystar could argue like that, it would be great - but as always, the best he can muster is "Uh. Queen Good. Uh" and "Uh. You no fan if you like someone else. Uh". Proper caveman stuff. I wish he'd just stop it to be honest.

The Game was the least 'average' album of their releases in the 80s. It had hits, but was lacking a couple of songs (or lengthier songs) to flesh it out to make it a really good album. All of the rest of their offerings that decade were way below average compared to their glory years.

Actually, the rest were just simply weak, but with a handful of 'they nailed it' tracks.

Van Hagar and Queensryche put out better, stronger, 'punchier', more fleshed out albums than Queen during that time. It always irritated me when I'd read comments around the AKOM period that 'rock' wasn't selling. Do it right, and it will sell.

During their 'lazy' period, considering all that went into 'The Miracle' and 'Innuendo'....the used leftovers for 'Made In Heaven', Brian's great solo LP, and the tons of demos that were made available....that lazy period provided a ton of brilliance that the masses didn't fully get a chance to enjoy.

Yeah but Queen were always a 'pop' band. BM said himself early on the Killer Queen best encapsulated what they were about - not the heavy stuff. That was them doing their thing - they always had a need to make a job of the band and to do that they had to be, and continued to be, pop. And they did it exceptionally well!
