I do not like AL s voice on its own merits at all. However he does enough. It almost passes by as the rest of the music is still strong and the show, and it is a show, is some production.
I’ve seen Roger and Brian solo, and with PR. This show is the best they can do at this point. And it’s actually pretty good[/QUOTE]
Genuine question...what did you think about Q+PR?
It was a bit stodgy. A bit too much meat and two veg rock.
Some good vocal performances by PR though as he is a great singer. I love Reaching Out and Wishing Well. But tellingly they aren’t Queen songs.
Overall the set list with AL seems better and more Queen styled.
The thing is for QPR you got three legends for the price of one and no glitter and schmaltz. The Free/BC songs were awesome the collab was totally believable. With QAL you get a casting muppet as a bonus and treats like TwoFux. Quite a difference isnt it
In PR and AL they have done two different collaborations which are at the opposite ends of the spectrum , both in music style and status in the music industry, trying to cover for FM who is not replaceable. If I was God I’d rather tone down Lambert , and loosen up Rodgers but unfortunately we can’t make a singer for Queen.
AL gig was better. For QPR the whole was less than sum of its parts .
In 2012 when the QAL first started there were Queen fans faulting Adam for being too stiff and because of his height looking like a giraffe. As he has become more comfortable now some people think he is OTT? They are forgetting that Freddie was constantly in motion except when at the piano!

I actually did not mind Q+PR played some music from Paul's back catalogue. I think Brian and Roger were excellent playing on them. And I really liked how Paul sang the Queen songs, so it was a win wn for me. I watch ROTC more than I play TCR.

Yeah, AL can be OTT. The Coronet as a example, now with the added cape, is OTT, in my opinion.
Like we need youof all people to school us Queen fans about how Freddie performed live.
I don't think that a coronet and a cape is over the top. Those are the kinds of things associated with a Queen and or a King. I don't think there is anything over the top about that. Now a sparkling onesie and superman on stage could qualify for me. You really don't need to tell Caroline about schooling Queen fans. Then you wonder why she says something to you. You always make remarks and start things with her and then you complain when she answers you in a way you don't like! Can you not resist your little digs? I do imagine there was talk about you in that line that Inu-Linger was in. I know he would never say, but you also do more than your bit here on this site!
Icy you said you became a Queen fan after Freddie died.
I became a fan watching Live Aid as it was being broadcast in 1985 — before you were born!!!!! LOL

I have never denied i became a fan after freddie passed away, so what you are trying to do by bringing that up, i dont know.
Sure you are a Queen fan *sarcasm*. And I am the biggest Glambert there ever was and ever will be *sarcasm*.
As for age, keep lusting over AL, sweetcaroline aka Granny Glambert, because how AL looks is so important for you.

I think its ott and in bad taste when AL wears the cornoet. I didnt like it from the first time i saw it. I dont like it now.
AL is not a Queen or a King however ;-).
If you think Freddie on supermans shoulders while wearing that silver costume is over the top, ok thats one thing. I dont agree with that it was ott, and it was pretty tame compared to other things. Harmless fun at the end of the day.
As for inu liger, he said i wasnt mentioned. Why do you imagine i was talked about, or do you you hope that i got the same kind of reaction as sweetcaroline did? I trust inu liger, and if he did know i was talked about, he knows i could handle it.
If Adam wasn’t a very nice, gracious, fun-loving human being his looks would be meaningless!
Like the Coronet or not, one thing is for sure: Lambert IS a Queen.

That took guts to post on a Queen site.
Nah, he isn't a Queen for me.
I think she meant because he is gay, he is most certainly a Queen! I know even after 6 years and singing maybe 180 shows, Adam is not worthy of anything to do with Queen. Any chance you get, you throw another little dig at QAL and then you talk about being a fan. I just don't get it! You are every bit as obsessed with Freddie and defending him, as you say Caroline is about Adam. It is just too funny!
