As to what oliverd05 said, I do think they're pitching Radio Gaga in that scene

There will be things niggling Queen fans like the hairy lip showing up prematurely. Only Brian and Roger can answer for why that was allowed to fly and they WILL be asked. It bothers me. Yet, I think the movie will ultimately be enjoyed for what it is by fans, old and new, all over the world.

I've read the suggestion that growing the moustache might be used as symbolism of accepting his sexuality and the gay scene, so is introduced when he come to terms with being gay rather than when he actually grew it in real life.

And sadly I suspect they won't answer.

Brian will answer, but it won't be an answer to the question, he will answer with a story about Freddie, followed by information about his current interest.
For example:
Q: why does the biopic have Freddie growing his famous moustache in 1977?
A: well that's a good question, and I really, well sometimes anyway, think back to when Freddie first grew his moustache and the crowd in those first few concerts that weren't happy and threw Bic razors onto the stage. I was looking, other day actually, at of some the wonderful stereoscopic photos taken of that event....

^ there ARE a few furry faced pictures of Fred from prob around 76-77 that show him with awkward haircut and facial hair

People who make the trailers are a completely separate company. So they just cobbled together bits that look and sound good without too much thought put into it. I reserve my right to complain after I've seen the movie.

They went to the trouble of getting Brian's straightened hair right for 1969-1971. It seems weird that they would go to that level of detail, but then make such an obvious mistake as Freddie having a mustache three years early, or Roger having his 1975 hair in what appears to be 1983-84.
Also - who's to say the shot of John and Brian bowing their guitars isn't accurate? I think it's quite possible they at least attempted that approach when recording the intro of Death on Two Legs - Jimmy Page had used that technique on stage which Brian was surely aware of in 75, so it wouldn't be out of the question that he ever considered it. Granted, the swinging amp seems more unlikely.
Roger's non-raspy voice is the thing that's gonna bother me the most, I think. But that's kind of out of their control - they found someone with the right look and probably made the right call in going with him.

I don't care about any of it! I just want to see the movie! Besides, there's clearly going to be a lot of cats in the movie, so how could it be bad? ;) lol

Well there is that

The question here, is why Sunshine is so concerned about what we spend our lives in. And I won't play the psychological route, but you should.

Ben Hardy actually has a very deep voice, so just getting him speaking several octaves higher is an achievement in itself.

Good point, Mouse.
Weren't you the mouse rapist at one point? Or was that someone else?
Either way, they've got MY money guaranteed (*unless i get to see a screening for free and think the film is a POS)
but aside from that? I can see myself watching the film at least once in the theater.

I think the scene about We Will Rock You will be Brian reminding Freddie not to write songs like Body Language.
