I've said this before but I dream about a 20+ disc box set. I know it'll never happen but still.

Well, the crazy thing is that a 20+ disc box set is perfectly possible with all the material they have... (they really should include a couple Crazy tour shows in a 1979 box too!)

Indeed very sad such a really big box will never happen :-(

A 20+ box? No way.

4 discs plus DVD and/or Bluray + book + memorabilia shit, same as usual.

^^^ Now that would be nice!!

However I still don't understand why Queen has never followed the example of The Who or Pearl Jam and come up with a bunch of official bootlegs that cover all gigs from several tours.
For The Who and Pearl jam it worked perfectly, the official bootlegs by these band sold by the millions. The interest among a lot of Queen fans would even be greater I suppose.

We want it all and we want it now!!!

We want 45 CD Live Killers box set with all shows without overdubs. (1 CD with soundcheck before show) + 5 DVD - Paris and Tokyo concerts with bonus material. (Spring 2019)

We want Hammersmith Odeon 1979 DVD + (24 CD soundboard tapes from Crazy Tour included famous Newcastle shows, Liverpool, Dublin, Brighton, All London shows) + bonus material 2CD Open Air Saarbrucken 1979 (Autumn/Winter 2019)

If the tapes exist why we couldn't get this kind of release?

What's the point to wish 2011 remaster?
This album needs to be properly remixed, resequenced with all previously omitted tracks to be restored in the set.

I don't wish that but it's the way it's gonna be.

Well. Queen DID jump into the "official bootlegs" bandwagon back in 2004 but they messed it up ROYALLY, like only Queen Production can (at times).

I give to you, Queen's officially-released "Top 100 Bootlegs":
www.ultimatequeen.co.uk/queen/discography/the-top-100-bootlegs.htm

Only 32 were released and they were digital downloads of existing bootlegs in their original bootleg quality, often not even the best sources available. You could literally download the same shows in BETTER quality off of Queenzone and torrent sites. Embarrasing.

Brian and Roger both didn't like that album as they were the two members who spoke unfavourably of the album at the time. At the end of the day they approve what gets released or doesn't get released.
