What's the point to wish 2011 remaster?
This album needs to be properly remixed, resequenced with all previously omitted tracks to be restored in the set.
I don't wish that but it's the way it's gonna be.
Brian and Roger both didn't like that album as they were the two members who spoke unfavourably of the album at the time. At the end of the day they approve what gets released or doesn't get released.
They will release the boxset cuz... MONEY.

Well they will probably release something from 1979 but it won't involve any of the song versions on Live Killers.

Wait and see.

I think that a Live Killers 40th anniversary release would be something like:
-Remastered album + Paris 1979 (compilation of the 3 nights)
-LP 180g
and something on video (probably Paris too).

There is a lot of video footage from that era to release. Paris only could be quite boring.

any dvd (highly unlikely to be a blu ray) will be ntsc converted pal videos with a documentary on the tour which has a run time of 17 minutes and features the clips already seen in the highlights video..

Boring? Have you ever seen the setlist for the final show of the tour? Here it is anyway:

We Will Rock You (fast), Let Me Entertain You, Somebody To Love, Fat Bottomed Girls, Death On Two Legs, Killer Queen, Bicycle Race, I'm In Love With My Car, Get Down Make Love, You're My Best Friend, Now I'm Here, Don't Stop Me Now, Mustapha (intro), If You Can't Beat Them, Spread Your Wings, Dreamers Ball, Love Of My Life, '39, It's Late, Brighton Rock, Keep Yourself Alive, Bohemian Rhapsody, Tie Your Mother Down, Sheer Heart Attack, Big Spender, Jailhouse Rock, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, God Save The Queen

The show was 150 minutes long or two hours and a thirty minutes!

I know almost every setlist of every known Queen show. Still, boring. Better if we get different songs from different dates. BTW, the last gig from Live Killers was Saarbrücken and it didn't last 150 minutes long.

Ale, re:

>They will release the boxset cuz... MONEY.

Memorabiia to include:

1 - A lock of reproduction green hair as sported by Roger at Saarbrucken.
2 - John's leather tie.
3 - Reproduction 1,0000 Swiss Franc note as used to snort cocaine by the band and it's entourage.
4 - A Sixpence.
5 - Torn white t-shirt as worn by Freddie in the CLTCL video - fact checking meany that QPL were unable to recognise that it has nothing whatsoever to do with the Live Killers tour.

Creased and folded tour posters and concert tickets reproduced from copies of the originals.
Saarbrucken wasn't recorded for the live album - it was after the album was released. Myself, I'd be thrilled if discs 3 and 4 of the box set were the uncut last night in Paris. But knowing QPL it'd likely be a compilation of the three nights, and that's fine by me too. They played well in Paris, and Mercury was in pretty good voice.

The video part of the boxset I'm quite sure it will a compilation from several dates. Not just Paris.

I think the Paris shows were the only ones on the tour to be filmed (and still exist) in their entirety. Though it could potentially include footage from other shows in a bonus section like on Queen On Fire - Live At The Bowl DVD as it included a few songs from both Vienna and Tokyo.

I wonder whether they consider releasing something from the Crazy tour. Hammy'79 is the best show they ever filmed.
Above all I'd like to have a complete Hammy'79.
Is the multitrack still missing?

I'm guessing it still is because as recent as 2011 they didn't. I would've thought we would know by now. I hope I'm wrong as I agree with you it's a great show except they didn't perform Fat Bottomed Girls! That song was one of the best songs they did live.
