JB and Rainbow - thanks for the links. Finally had time to listen and hadn't heard those before! Can't say I care for Yellow Breezes but it's nice to hear something new.
Stupid question for everyone. What are the three threads for this? I have seen this one (of course!) and the one named Thoughts on Thor and Lee's 11 year friendship. What's the third one? I feel like I have seen/read it but a search doesn't turn up anything.
Amidds- here it is - it’s the very first one, which Thor started. Really great reading.

I’m right there with everyone who has commented about yellow breeze. Of course it doesn’t seem like a final but maybe more studio play??? Was really fun, like you said, to hear something new, and hear his playfulness. I actually like that he did that scat singing because, to me, it goes along with his appreciation of styles of music he was influenced by.
Amidds-think that’s worth a dollar? Haha!!
Have a great day all
LOL JB! You get the dollar but only for helping me find that darn link!!! I'm sure I read it but I plan on going back through all the threads as part of my re-reading project. No, I have nothing better to do since it's subzero and there is too much of that evil snow on the ground!!
Well, that and getting Fredfie to call me a cheeky bugger. Makes me laugh every time :)
I'm completely lost as usual whats it mean? Yellow breeze is it a play or a quote or what? I'm such a airhead. There is no helping me.
Chevy, here was the original post w link
I the only one who never heard this before. So fun! Thanks Freddie. :)

A very happy Veterans Day to all those on Queen Zone who have served their country, both active duty and retired. Thank you for your service! [/QUOTE]
Thank you Rainbow. That is very noble of you, I am not military but I thank you for your sentiment just the same.

Lsg03...Thanks for the links. I had heard that interview quite a while back, but it was fun listening to it again. First of all...it doesn't matter what Freddie talks about because the gentle sound of his voice, his laugh, and his sense of humor are completely and utterly charming. That whole interview was so playful. The weather forecast...priceless! Chuckled when he said people associate him with simpering little ballads. Also, I find it interesting that he couldn't sight read music. (By the way, thank you for your kind words the other day...My husband is retired Air Force, so Veterans Day is important to us.)
Kenny Everett,Was a funny dude but I think he took things to the extremes maybe that's why that friendship needed a break. What do you guys think?
I echo Rainbow’s post re: the interview!!! Perfectly said. Lsgp03 thanks for posting the links. It’s been a little bit since I’ve heard it too. And wouldn’t have made my way back to it so soon. :)). I am now going to re-listen. :).
Rainbow- thank you to your husband, and all Veterans. My Dad was a Korean War veteran and during most gathering he had, he would have a moment to honor and appreciate our veterans. Looks like I have a lot of catch-up reading to do, didn’t see those posts.
Have a good day all.
My Dad was a Vietnam veteran he served and after he was out I was born in 73.It definately changed him I dont remember but my aunts and uncles tell me he was another guy when he came out.Thank You all you guys out there for your bravery and service .
You’re welcome Rainbow.
Chevyman, all prior interviews, and videos from long ago cite the Kenny Everett friendship ended over cocaine. Freddie complained Kenny was always using Freddie’s cocaine all the time and Kenny never reciprocated and Freddie found it frustrating, and distasteful of Kenny. But the issue with Kenny was that he heard it 3rd hand, and word was Freddie didn’t care to rectify it because he said it was true. That came from Garden Lodge folks after Freddie died.
I’m sure none of that was discussed beforehand because police probably would have trailed all of them. But it’s in all in various interview videos.
