If they found the outtakes and rushes from the videos they could make some "new" videos just like the "new" Barcelona and time waits for no one video and upscale it to HD.
I also believe there were a couple of mastertapes found from the Barcelona sessions a couple of years back with some demo's that were played at the convention. They can add those tracks too.

Well, I seriously doubt that all of the Mr Bad Guy tracks were given the same "Queen" treatment as Love Kills but we'll see. I hope that as Inu has implied this really is something new. Let's wait for the press release

It will be as new as the lame "new" book....

Well It is just solo collection 2000 on 4 disks, right?
nothing new just old material with remaster 2019.[/QUOTE]
No so far it looks like Mr Bad Guy and the Barcelona orchestra version together with some random solo Tracks including "Time Waits for No One" . THe Bluray will be all videos. And mybe the Great Pretender Docu. It is a shame they release this instead of a 40 year Live Killers anniversary box. F*** you QP

On a side note....
Do we know when this photo was taken and if the audience actually didn't want to release the mic out of its grasp?

It had better NOT be the Barcelona Orchestral Edition in this set.
I was led to believe 4 years ago that both the original Barcelona & MBG were remastered for release in 2015, but instead we got the "Messenger " sets.
I'm hoping the version of Barcelona on here IS the original, mastered to sound the best it can.
It's a bloody travesty if it's that god-awful orchestral release. I certainly don't want to pay good money for that shite again.

I hope the quality of the videos are better than the last Freddie dvd release, grainy as fuck hardly any difference to VHS, the Dave Clarke release is pristine the video looked like it was filmed yesterday it was so good.
I wonder which Barcelona material will be released the original or the shit that Miami beach thought was better than Freddie's and Mike Moran's. Jim's remark about "if Freddie had the balls to use a full orchestra " which was a slap in the face to Mike Moran and Freddie would he have said it if Freddie was alive? nope he would of sacked the fuck for ruining the original genius of an album Moran and Mercury made.

^it's clearly the SPECIAL EDITION with the orchestra. The track listing indicates EXERCISES IN FREE LOVE in the same sequence as the redo.
Unless it's an unheard of THIRD EDITION! ;)
(Which would have been great in 5.1/7.1)
I suppose you all are right to point out Jim's disparaging remark about balls.
It's a point of sale...p.o.s.
Wouldn't call the ENTIRE album a POS though, it still has the primary vocals and Mike Moran on ensueño
It's just a pale comparison to the original

I'm not able to listen at the moment...what major differences are there in the mix? Is it radically different/different takes, extended etc??
