No. My family is half German, half British. We travel back and forth a lot. Plus, the Brexit campaign was full of lies anyway, that too many stupid people believed.
Even if it’s a democratic vote: My opinion is, that the average citizen doesn’t have the knowledge to decide about something as complex as the Brexit. With all the lies that were spread, people decided with their hearts and their guts. But without understanding the consequences.

I couldn't vote too young but if I could now it would be remain as I can't see what the good points are. The big points claimed by Brexiteers before the referendum have now been shown as lies or are unrealistic. I just hope we don't leave with a no deal because the UK will be doomed.

Nothing you cunt, but the voting comment was unnecessary.

As a Canadian looking in... the initial vote result was too narrow to make that decision. And the aftermath proves it. What an utter waste of time and money.

You're absolutely right. But it's worse than that.
The vote was given to the country by a prime minister who didn't really care about people, had used the EU as an excuse for not spending money in certain areas of the country claiming the EU didn't allow it, and also made several claims that the EU cost the UK more than it gave back. . . ad to all this his resignation after the leave side "won" despite promising to stay to see the process of leaving through.
He lost a referendum in Scotland before the brexit vote over Scottish independence. Both referendums were offered because he thought he could increase his and his party's majority in parliament. He failed twice.
The brexit side and the remain side both lied about what the outcome of the vote would bring, and are still doing so.
When he resigned two days after the referendum, the government should have cancelled the whole thing as the person who brought it to the country, and had said he would be responsible for the process, turned tail and ran.

Not only is it a terrible decision to leave the UK, the incompetent, hamfisted way in which David Cameron handled the whole thing, and jumped ship immediately after falling flat on his face, guarantees that, whichever result the UK ends up with, the people will be deeply divided for years, the trust *within* both labour and the conservatives is broken, the relationships with Scotland and Northern Ireland have been damaged further, and the risk of renewed violence in Northern Ireland is very real.

Agreed, absolutely.
I think in more politically and militarily unstable countries given this situation violence or even civil war would be close to breaking out.
Cameron like Mre May was in office to put his name in history while having little regard to what the job was really about.

Mr. Cameron expected a different outcome. He gambled and lost. And the whole of the UK has to endure the consequences.
