Why were their two drummers on stage? That whole performance was just bizarre on many levels. There were several times where neither Adam, Roger nor Brian were singing and yet we could hear vocals. Were the keyboardist/second drummer doing heavy backup singing?
Yes, they are all singing back-up vocals. And they can sing pretty well. ;)

The second „drummer“ is playing percussions for a fuller sound. That job was originally Rufus Taylor‘s. Since the band liked the sound with an additional drummer / percussionist, they hired Tyler Warren, drummer on Queen‘s Extravaganza, to take over, when Rufus became the drummer for The Darkness.
They use a second drummer because Roger can't play like he used to and he's going slightly deaf, the fuller sound it's an excuse.
Roger has been playing better than he did in ages during the last tour. The tempo is up, his vocals sounded great. I agree, that he probably needed the security of a second drummer, when QAL started. But at the moment, Roger doesn‘t need backup.
Roger playing better than in the 70s or 80s? Are you talking about Roger Taylor drummer for the former band Queen?
Yes I do talk about Roger.
Have you attended or watched their latest tours (during the last 2 years)?
He‘s much better than the years before or during the Paul Rodger‘s era.
„in ages“ doesn’t equal „better than ever“. But for sure he has lately been playing better than in - let’s say - the last 2 decades. ;)

Wow, that was... weird. Saying Roger is playing better now is living in a fantasy. I've seen lotta shows from Paul Rodgers (Rodgers, not Rodger) era and also from this ridiculous era. I don't give a fuck about any of those, I only care about Queen with Freddie Mercury. Of course this is not Queen, just a self-tribute. Roger was a great drummer, now, he should retire with some dignity. Same for Brian.

I understand you're a "fan" of Adam Lambert, laughable at some point. You could have chosen to be a fan of Queen or Radiohead or U2 but no... you're an Adam Lambert fan. Now I realize why you see things are not there like Roger playing "better" now than in the "last 20 years".

Wow. I think, we won‘t agree on anything here. Yes, I‘m an Adam fan. I‘m also a Queen fan. Oh, I have seen U2 as well. And I really follow a few other bands and musicians as well.

You don’t like Q+AL. You don’t follow them and think Brian and Roger should retire. That’s your opinion.

But why the fuck do you think, you know better, how Roger has been playing lately than I? Because I‘m an Adam fan? Man, you should get down from your high horse... I‘m not the only fan saying that. Ask others.

There's such large chunks of previous posts being quoted it's difficult to work this out. So the person who has been a fan for years thinks they should quit because they're shit, and the person who is into AL thinks they should continue because they're better than ever. Is this correct?

No. The person, who’s into AL, is also into Queen and things that Roger doesn‘t necessarily need a back-up drummer at the moment, because he has been playing better this past year than he had in one or two decades.
The fan who has been a fan for years seems to know better, without following the tours.

Me neither, specially not with an AL fan... but what do you have to hide?

I wanted to talk about the show yesterday. Apparently you don’t, so I will stop this here.

There was a show yesterday? I only saw (part of) a cheap cabaret show with a pathetic clown screaming more than singing LOL

Okay, but back to the show last night: Does anyone know what the technical difficulty was that delayed them going on? Brian said something about circumstances "being so difficult".

Also, side question, does AL think that "Somebody to Love" was written with overtly sexual overtones? Because last night's performance made me think that he does.
